Who is more to blame Florida or the SEC?

Yea Florida did really make a bitch move, but a smart one for them.. Avoiding a very likely loss to LSU, by pretending to be ignorant to post hurricane issues, keeps the door open for them to win the SEC East.. The SEC should've stepped in Monday or Tuesday and forced them to make a decision sooner..

Florida because they refused to move the game. This was an easy decision to make and they decided to try to make LSU's situation as difficult as possible. It blew up on them in the end.
It was a cowardly move by UF.

The whole East and West division thing is such crap

It looks like they were avoiding having to play a road game. Even though that might be some reasoning behind Florida's stance on the situation....the correct decision was made. You don't leave your family/home/communities in chaos to play a football game. Any fan that doesn't understand that is selfish.

Both. Once Florida dug in their heels on not playing this game anywhere, they should have been charged with a forfeit.

Yea BECAUSE that's different than evacuation

SEC
Should have been all over Foley early in the week.
Should have raised the option of Florida forfeiting if it elected to not play.
Should have put all sorts of heat on the SEC office to dictate contingencies.

SEC.
They're supposed to be the governing body, keep this stuff under control. Instead they're allowing the tail to wag the dog.

Who is the boss here? It's the SEC. Once the conference saw FU wasn't gonna budge, the SEC should have stepped in and dictated what should happen. If FU gets mad, what are they gonna do? Leave the conference? Forfeit the game? Hold the unreasonable party's feet to the fire.

The decision should've never been made this late plain and simple.. They waited until they had an excuse as to why it couldn't be played elsewhere.. LSU offered them every accommodation imaginable, but they were scared to play in Death Valley.
