Probably.

I can confirm this. Vitello has agreed to terms with LSU. $2.7 million per year. Staff salary will be in the $2-$3 million range between pitching, hitting, and recruiting coordinator.
Only issue is whether Josh Elander joins Vitello in Baton Rouge or tries to interview for the UT head coaching vacancy.
Will be announced as soon as UT’s season is over and Vitello has a chance to address his team back in Knoxville.

Come on now. I like TV a lot but this is just silly.

but even then that seems ridiculous.
It’s not your money.
If booster are willing to pay it and the budget is fine why not invest more into baseball?
That’s the same bitch thought process that was used to keep Les.
Governor said it didn’t matter that the 19 mill was private donations. He said the public was too stupid to understand it wasn’t coming from taxes.
Guess he was right

I call bullshite on the money part.
Ain’t no way we throw that kind of money at a coach with 4 yrs HC experience and no national titles. No fricking way. Especially in the shadow of the worst revenue year for TAF since it’s inception probably. Not to mention, you make Corbin turn down that offer, as he is probably the only coach in college baseball who MAY warrant such an offer to lure him to us.
TV may be our next HC, but his resume does not command that price…

I can see paying that much for a head coach, but I believe you can only have 2 paid assistants and there is no way an assistant would make over a mil.

Daddy hats, Crews Missile and Vitelleaux shirts, Tre Morgan wigs, the Box is gonna be lit.

A lot of gullible people in here taking word from some random SECr post to rustle jimmies. I think it would take crazy money to get him here but that guy doesn't know what's going on.

What if Crews wouldn’t play for him?

Getting some incredible mileage out of it too.

Playing along seems to make the time go by faster for me.

I don’t see 2.7 for a head coach either

1.) Mulkey is a 20+ year HOF blueblood coach with multiple natties
2.) WBB still generates ~$400k more revenue each year than baseball

Unless I'm missing something here that would be a real bitch move and i hope Crews isnt that type. But if he is, then the opinion of a single player who will only be here for 2 more years shouldn't affect Woodwards decision on the man leading the program for the foreseeable future
