Why don't they just double team her?

Just my two cents, I think it’s split between Flau’jae and Hailey. Flau’jae has the athleticism to be a mismatch on CC and Hailey is like a water bug out there, she’ll do a good job preventing CC from getting the ball as much which will make for fewer shot opportunities. Ideally.

HVL won’t be able to guard her. The dribble penetration will kill HVL. Clark likes to shoot from the top left point of the 3pt line. We need to try and force her to the right. Need to guard the back door feeds for sure. If she penetrates, we need to rotate someone on the back side to disrupt that pass. It may leave an open 3 but it might prevent her from wanting to take it to the basket.

It’s not the points you stop it’s the assist and easy layups she gets. Keep her under 10 assists and out of the paint and you win.

She's going to score 30-35 points. We just have to limit her assists by guarding the other shooters and getting through screens. We will dominate in the paint. They have no inside game to compete. Angel and Aneesah should each get 20 points if they stay out of foul trouble. Everyone on their team can score from the outside. Mikayla needs to have her shot be on tonight if Flaujae is going to be the defensive stopper. She's going to use up a lot of energy.

The other players on this team can shoot.

Will not HVL, Clark will eat her lunch on defense. She’ll always be two steps behind her .

Maybe we should put all five players on her. Just put a ring around her. If we can contain her a little we should be ok. It's not like she scores 40 points a game. Try to hold her to 25.

They need to harass her with double teams and force someone else on Iowa to score

You do realize.. There are players on the IOWA team that can shoot? Gabby.. Martin.. etc. Leave them open and you get 3's.

I said what I said. I would rather take away Clark’s points and force those others to make the shots. And I damn sure wouldn’t have slow arse HVL trying to guard Clark 1 on 1

Clark has a sharp eye to quickly get the ball to any open player and someone will be open; they can also shoot baskets.
