Who else was in Auburn on this date in 1994? The "Jamie Howard" game

Unbelievable. On that last pick 6 we didn't even kid about passing again. No one would be that stupid to call a pass again after two pick 6's earlier, would they? Especially since Auburn had used its last time out with just a little over a minute left.

Was that the year that he tried to run for the touchdown?

I was there...it was like he was color blind.

Even better, I was at the KD party at the Faculty Club the following week. Jamie was there and I kept waiting for somebody to talk trash to him.

I don't remember anyone giving him grief, but there was definitely an awkward vibe going on.

Wasn't at Auburn for 94 debacle but remember each interception vividly on the tv screen.

I was living in Tuscaloosa at that time. Our company was having its fall picnic that afternoon and we had a tv set up in a tent. Everyone watching the game was a Bama fan except me. They were hooping it up that LSU was crushing Auburn, but in the fourth quarter when things turned ugly (for LSU), they started riding me. It was most embarrassing.

Me and 3 friends were sitting a few rows behind the LSU bench. I've never seen a team be that dominate over another team and lose. I remember Swan and Northern meet every snap at the AU quarterback. AU could not do anything offensively, yet Curly and Amemdee kept throwing the f%&king football.
Leaving the stadium I tried to beat up an older gentleman who was being a smartass. Not my finest moment.

On Auburn's opening drive, they got a decent KO return and drove into FG range and kicked a FG. They didn't cross the 50 the rest of the day...except when they were running the INT's in for TD's.

I was there with a few friends. It was a long drive back. Going back this weekend for some redemption.

Watching it on TV and nearly went insane. Lynn Amadee and Curly Hallman should have been fired in the lockerroom after the game. Howard was not good but was also a victim of pathetic and idiotic coaching.

Didn't make the game, but as a freshman at LSU I remember going to the Mr. Gattis buffet to watch the second half and eat (it must have been an 11 am JP game). The interceptions, along with the cheap buffet pizza, were not good for my hungover stomach. It was nice to see Howard get the win against Auburn in Tiger Stadium the next year.

I refuse to watch that game ever again, we got our revenge in 95 though. One of LSU biggest wins of the 90's.
