We better score a lot of touchdowns.

Same. Seems like he misjudged how hard he needed to hit it because he looked pretty nonchalant when he kicked it.

When all is said and done it will be Gonsoulin. Culp just does not have the leg strength. Barely made that 45 yarder with a nice tail wind last night. Gonsoulin isn't hitting bad kicks, just needs to get his towards settled in.

So let Gonsoulin take a shot from 45+. We can't miss 35-40 yarders consistently and expect to win close games.

He didn't kick field goals in high school for a reason, strictly a kickoff guy.

I was white knighting for the kickers yesterday. These haven't been bad misses. Of course they need to start making them, but they are being kicked solidly. Sky is not falling yet.

I'm gonna chalk it up to first FG jitterz. Also first kick in death valley.

If we need a field goal to win, we're in trouble.

How the hell did he win the kickoff job in camp? He hasn't shown a strong leg in either game, but clearly he's shown something in practice.

And it seemed coming out of camp that Gonsulin didn't have the leg but was more accurate. He wasn't even mentioned as being in the mix for kickoff.

IDK. So confusing. Hopefully someone steps up. I have very little confidence in any of them.

And as for kickoffs, why was Gamble kicking them deep into the endzone to start the game and then by the end he was just getting them inside the 5.

When he kicked it, I said out loud that it looks like we found our kicker, and then it landed short. Surprised me.

If you watched them warm up last night, Gonsoulin hits a much better ball and was more accurate, although not accurate enough. Culp was hitting it terribly when warming up for the second half. Gonsoulin hit one from 60 yards (albeit with a tail wind) that would have been good from 65.

I think he needs to give both some opportunities and see who handles it the best. I'm just not seeing where Culp has the leg to consistently get it there from 45+.
