I dunno. Its not yet like when Curtis and Evangel had a headlick on high school football for a couple decades. That did get kind of boring.
In college sports, we've had teams like UCLA basketball under Wooden. In pro sports, the old Celtics, the Jordan Bulls, etc. Those seem to be looked back on rather fondly.

Saban is a little nutty. One day he will follow the foot steps of Woody Hayes and go off the deep end, hopefully soon

I could see Saban pulling a Bobby Knight choke out in a state of blind rage.

Be patient...the Probation Bug will bite Alabama soon enough and they'll be fighting with Ole Miss and Mississippi State for the SECW bottom dwellers. It may take a while, but it will happen.

What do want the NCAA to do?
I think if the NCAA honestly wanted to enforce more parity, they could do something like X number of scholarship reductions for any team that wins a title. I don’t know what the right number would be. Maybe 3 less scholarships for the year following a title. The logic is similar to sending Super Bowl winners to the back of the line for draft picks. I think Bama would have to win like 10 titles in a row for the NCAA to actually consider something like this.

What exactly is the NCAA supposed to do about it? Not let Alabama recruit more than 2 players ranked in the top 150 each year?

You can’t be serious.

Laugh all you want. Had y'all not gotten Saban you'd be there already as your team was rapidly heading towards irrelevance. Saban saved you.

When I thought the meltdown couldn’t get any worse.
The kid will be a first round pick.

They should just cancel the football team.
The melt down is real! Saban is cheating, Tua is not elite, etc. haha haha!!

The reality is that we won't beat Alabama again while Saban is still coaching there. He has his system perfected and he just re-loads every year. And with Tagovailoa and his younger brother (who I've heard from some Bama fans who think he will be better than Tua), this nightmare of Bama ruling the college football world is not ending anytime soon. And the way it looks, Saban intends on coaching well into his seventies. And you are right: Saban really has taken the fun out of college football for this LSU fan, at least.

Tua has made this bama team unstoppable, this sabans best team from an offensive standpoint. He's got a superstar qb for the first time.
I do think clemson will give bama a run for its money this year.

Saban is one angry little fricker. It probably comes from a deep-seated inferiority complex he developed in early age. He always seems just mad at the world, even when he was at LSU. You'd think at his age, he'd want to finally retire like a normal person so he and his wife could truly enjoy their vast wealth, but no, he seems hell-bent on coaching until he's 100.

At least he's old.
Angry Midget just turned 67.
Joe Paterno was still coaching at 85.
Doubt that Angry Midget would work that long but he could.
Age has nothing to do with it.

It's just the recruiting aspect of it fricking things up. Either a lot of kids arent up for much of a challenge these days and just want to sign to make an All-Star team sort of like the Golden State Warriors players or there's something fishy about their recruiting. Something about how all these poor kids parents suddenly have good jobs in Alabama and all these poor kids are suddenly driving nice cars

Let’s just do away with the National Championship and give every team/player a participation trophy. That would be the ultimate parity. Not many people outside of the players family would watch or attend games but what the heck. Maybe we should just stop keeping score like a lot of t ball leagues so no one looses.
This would not even be a thread if Saban was at LSU doing all this winning.

Wheyher Sabin stays or leaves doesn't really matter, it's just a matter of when this recruiting situation breaks up. It's not just us that won't beat them no one will. Maybe a will get lucky every now and then but other than that it's not happening

And, their defense may be slightly down, but I don’t see them giving up 30+ in a big game when there #1s are playing in the second half.
I actually think their defense has had no dropoff (at least with their starters) that some media types were saying. Their D looks as dominant as ever to me, when they come to play. They are going to roll through the CFP like a hot knife through butter. Clemson may be good, but not near good enough to be anything more than just another road apple.
