Considering Herman recruited Burrow to OSU against Urban’s wishes then yes, he probably gets Joe to LSU.

Actually it was Ensminger who met Joe Brady and pushed for him to be hired and it was Bill Busch who identified Burrow and pushed for LSU to sign him.

I wanted Fleck then Herman, never wanted Jimbo and after Herman and Jimbo declined accepted O.
2018 and 2019 were great, had a bad feeling about 2020 because of the number of players not returning.
I never felt good about 2021 season with our OL and LB's.
QB position never seemed to me to be solid
This team is a sh!! show and now time to move on.
It will take two recruiting classes to climb out of this funk. 2021 class is good and if we keep 2022 intact and sign a good 2023 class we may turn this thing around.
We need a great hire and with this said I still do not like Jimbo and he would be a total idiot to leave his current job.
With NIL personally I am no longer watching college football with the same interest so I have time to wait and see if this works out for out TIGERS

I supported the hire for the same reasons you mentioned. However, I support a change now unlike those that defended Miles for years and were afraid to change. Some still defend Miles to this day. The guy was a nutcase!

I wanted Herman. Obviously he didn't work out at UT but that's not to say he wouldn't have had success here. I mean, could you imagine O at Texas?

While not a big proponent of the O hire, I took a wait and see position. He brought a National Championship to BR, so how could anyone be discontent after 2019? I hear all the “lightning in a bottle” stuff, but it was O that went out & recruited & landed Joe B.
We lost a lot to the draft & graduation after that, so I can give him some slack. But the coordinator hires since ‘19 leave a lot to be desired & letting the OL players reach this level is inexcusable. I have lost faith in O to keep,the program at the expected LSU level.

I was for Jimbo fisher after Miles but once the decision was made to take the local boy, I bought in emotionally and literally with 4 more tickets.
I liked the possibility that local boy could bring us a championship and I liked O’s story.
It worked but it’s time to move on

After he was announced, I supported the hire and I'm glad I did because he coached LSU to a Natty in 2019.
Now subsequent to that Natty, he lost his drive and his focus. Hence, I jumped off his bandwagon the second he lost to UCLA.
