This one may be my most confident. This team will not be denied. Clemson knows what is coming.

Most confident in 07
Least confident in 11

I'm confident this year but nobody really has any idea how good Clemson is still. They've played one good team and looked bad at the beginning and really good at the end. I think we'll know after two drives how confident we should be

2007, most confident prior to this one. Felt like we were just better than OSU.
2003, pretty confident. We had a great defense and felt we matched up well.
2011, not confident. Lack of offense, qb play was a concern. Defense could do well, and did for most of the game, but the offense gave me no confidence, to the point I didn’t even watch most of the game when it became apparent we simply could not move the ball. Just too painful to watch.

This year, probably have the most confidence of any. The offense is the real deal and I think they are in a great position to win it. The defense is healthy and should be able to get enough stops to let the offense work its magic.

I just haven’t watched enough of Clemson this year to get a good read. They have built a dynasty. 2011 LSU was in trouble with Studwa as OC plus Les. Team was regressing as season wore on

2007 - most confident
2003 - somewhat confident, I was 15 and just stunned we were actually there
2020 - scared because of 2012
2012 - I was 90% sure we would lose and lose big

I had a good feeling about Ohio State in 08. You could tell they didn’t have the speed to keep up back then.

Bama 2012 I had a very bad feeling about.

Yeah I never doubted we’d beat OSU. And I never expected to beat Bama in the mulligan.

Seems to me too many LSU fans already bought into this year's media blitz. And if fans realized why they build anything up, they'd behave a little differently.

Clemmy
OSU
OU
Bama

Even my limited confidence going into the 2011 game was straight fool's gold. I knew in my bones we weren't beating Bama/Saban twice that year.

Least 2012. 9-6

Most. Ohio state 2007

Fwiw 16 yr old me thought LSU would stomp Clemson in Sugar bowl back in the 50s.
I thought the lsu backfield was the "end all, be all".
Only 7-0.

I remember how the offense looked in the first half of 2011 vs Georgia and that concerned me

Agree with this. I was by far the least confident in 2012. I thought LSU would win because they had won in Tuscaloosa and the title game was essentially at home, but I was nervous about our passing game against Alabama's defense and pissed that Alabama had the unfair advantage of sitting and resting while LSU played another game against a top 10 opponent.

This year, both teams have played the same number of games, LSU is a more complete team and, again, they get a defacto home field advantage.

i'm confused by your dates...
if you use 2012 and 2020 for the last two, why not 2004 and 2008 for the first two?

LSU vs. Oklahoma on Jan 4, 2004
LSU vs. Ohio State on Jan 7, 2008
LSU vs. Bama on Jan 9, 2012
LSU vs. Clemson on Jan 13, 2020
