If I were an LSU fan, my biggest concern would be State sandwiched between UGA & Bama

That beatdown in Starkville last year will prevent a letdown. Plus, there is a bye week after MSU so I don't think anyone will be focused on Bama.

Florida is my concern. Always a tough game at the swamp.

but Mississippi State is a really good team

I've noticed many don't know we play UGA the week before while Miss St. has the week off.

Most of them, but higher on the list after the one's you've mentioned are MSU, aTm, Florida and further down but still a concern based on history Ole Miss.

aTm and Florida. Miss St is there too.

Florida at the swamp is never fun. Jimbo will have a whole season to get his players in line by the time we get them. And I think State is very well coached and is going to be a tough game.

They may or may not be, but it really doesn't matter. They will give us a tough game especially in their house.

State.

If history is any indication, LSU can lose to either Bama OR Georgia and still make the playoffs. Honestly, it might be BETTER to lose to Bama, and skip the rematch with the Dawgs., taking the standard Bama Back Door into the playoffs.

But you CANNOT lose to State. Lose to State, and we're staring at a 5-3 SEC season and that's a waste of this start. Even if you beat state and then lose to UGA and Bama, no one is going to look too poorly on that if they both make the playoffs.

A&M. They're due for a win against LSU and it's personal for Jimbo

Florida always worries me and I loathe them and their fans ever more than the Gumps and auburn.

All of them....and if this program is to truly move forward....that's how the season should be approached.

The OP is asking the fans, not the players. Big difference...

Dear God, if by some miracle we are in 1st place in the West going into that game, and A&M beats us sending Bama to ATL, I may actually blow something up IRL.

this is a nightmarish scenario

I\m going to say the Razorbacks and the Rebs. Arkansas seems like they always come to play when they face the tigers. Even in past recent years their horrible team has beaten a solid LSU. And ol miss for the same reason. Historically they are always a tough competitor.

I don't see how we could lose to Bama but make the playoffs.

MooState. They’ve put together a really good squad out in Starkvegas. Glad it’s a home game tho cause I hate all those cowbells.

if we beat everyone else, and Oklahoma and ohio state have losses, no one would have a better resume than us after Bama, especially if we lose to Bama in a close game

A&M...LSU is the only SEC team they haven't beat(ones they've played) since joining the sec..gonna have a chip on their shoulder with how well they are playing and with Jimbo Fisher! I've gotten a lot of backlash from co-workers since the beginning of the year but I've said they'll take this one unfortunately..
