IMO

We need a hungry & proven younger guy that excels on one side of the football (O or D).

Likes to recruit

And isn't a caricature personality (Miles and O)

Would love Riley here.

People who would turn down Urban or Riley crack me up.

He would have more talent to work with defensively here. I would love a HC that could lock down one side of the ball and never have to worry about QB.

I like what Kalani Sitake has done at BYU. I know he is Mormon and at that jazz, but they play a smart, discipline, physical brand of football.

Kiffen coming here would also solidify Ole Miss as our d-league. In fact, if it happens, Woody should be allowed to hire Ole Miss' next coach too. You know..since we might call him up once Lane is gone.

Honestly, after 16 years of coaches who barely command the English language, I’d settle for a smart sounding coach.

I think there are a lot of coaches that would kill it here. One of the learning curves some what have to go through is that where they were accustomed to 2 or 3 big games, the SEC schedule will have 2X that.

Hugh Freeze. Hugh Freeze. He can run an athletic program, any athletic program - football, girls' basketball, JV track, ping pong, coed peewee soccer, he will have his team in contention. He would come in on fire to prove himself in the SEC again and he is not one of those offensive coaches that top defensive coordinators won't work with. He could get a good one. It would be salad days again at LSU in short order.

Everybody talks about how he's unhireable, well a church school hired him FFS and he is doing fine. Did he do something stupid and show very bad judgement? Yes. Has anyone here ever made a mistake in judgement?? I thought so. I'm sure they have somebody at Liberty watching every move with a microscope up his arse. No problems. He has Liberty turned around and made them a team that nobody wants to play.

He is going to turn around an SEC team sooner or later. He can do it for us or to us. He is too good to let someone else get him.
