Many are forgetting that what makes Saban a great coach is his ability to spot GREAT COACHES. You can't stay on top tier without the ability to replenish your staff.

It has to be a strong big name coach. We need someone to take over the athletic department and get rid of 90% of the people there. We need to stop suspending players only for them to go start else where. We have been lacking in our compliance department since Saban left.

There’s not a lot of good realistic options. Terrible time to be hiring a new coach

A black head coach who was involved with Patrick Mahomes and a superbowl winner, can't say that the offensive recruiting and game play wouldn't be top notch. That would be super attractive to stud athletes. Depends on his college experience though.

Only way I see him taking it would be in the spring next year. That is assuming that he doesn't finally get the nod for head coach in the NFL. Someone will cave into it and hire him there. Only way I see him going to college is to maybe prove he can be a head coach as far as organizing and running everything.

It's a long shot, but Urban Meyer would immediately have LSU back competing for National Championships. SW, you never know until you ask! Any fans that wouldn't want UM here, even if it's just 6-7 years, is out of their damn minds.

For a fan base that really hates that Coach O has been seen out with random blondes, there sure are a lot of people that want a guy who was just caught on video at a bar with 2 blondes that aren’t his wife. I don’t really care, but it just shows how many fans don’t actually care about that stuff, they just act like they do when they are losing

Kiffin didn’t do much against Bama so why the love for him?

He’s still very childish too. He does his Saban imitation to the media, takes off the headset to cut interviews short and just seems like a headache to deal with.

We can do better

I advocated for Freeze years ago to be the offense Coordinator on here and got downvoted to hell.

Now all of you want him as HC. Never change TRant never change lol…..

It won’t be Kiffin. And I think he would be good, but he’s not leaving OM to take his buddy’s job.

I used to think this but Coach O begged for the USC job after Kiffen was fired on the tarmac. They are friends but business is business.

Off the field stuff is only a issue when you don’t win.

Les was fine being stupid and goofy while winning, same with O.

Not really. It was always something, if not just the impression that he was retarded. From day one, the fanbase was 50/50 on Les, and could turn on a dime with him because of his persona. I'd love to see what could happen if LSU hired a smart, well spoken, winning coach fans can rally around at an 80-100% clip.
