Wait until right before the tournaments to drop this $hit!
It’s time for the SEC and the other big boys to, reach down and see if they’ve got a good pair!

With all due respect, you’re missing my point Brother!
This latest heavy handed action by the jackasses up in Indiana is just a small town example of what a useless and malignant entity the NCAA has become.
The members of the SEC, as well as the ACC, Big 10, PAC 10 and most of the remainder of the Big 12 get zero benefit from NCAA membership. Yet they are all to happy to take a huge cut of the money that we generate while restricting how, where and when we do so.
We can make more lucrative financial deals with, broadcasting, playoffs etc. without their baggage.
Also, there selective enforcement of the ever changing rules is laughable at best.
I’m simply saying that it’s time for us to exit the Titanic

It is a dick move but I believe you have the formula to beat them now. Simply don’t cooperate. Their power is shrinking fast and they want to make sure the $ keeps coming in.

Yet some people want to make assumptions that are the worst. If this info has been known for years, why has nothing been done yet? Why has Pat Forde done this what, 3 years in a row now. At tournament time. Or about the time LSU is about to land a recruit. If people cannot see that there are alternative motives, then I cannot help you.

Not to mention the fact that Calapari, with a history of fisting the rule book and leaving three prior programs on serious probation, is now untouchable as the skipper of the NCAA’s oldest round ball blue blood, is the height of hypocrisy

THIS....I will not read a word Forde prints but I've been told by those who have that this is simply a regurgitation of the same article he's written for years over and over - nothing new other that the allegations have been sent - LSU says they have not received yet, nevertheless the allegations are all well known and something LSU has been preparing for for years.

I don't agree. Imagine if LSU made a deep run in the tournament, and they announced after the tournament when we were basking in the accomplishment. That would be a lot worse.

We have to work within the system that we have so either get in line with the NCAA rules or keep clashing with them and suffer.

If Wade did anything wrong, it was just thinking he was allowed to play by the same rules as the 'blue bloods.'
And there is an easy solution to dealing with the NCAA, you tell them to frick off. If they couldnt bust Auburn for Cam they have no teeth. You can basically just ignore them and do what you want.

Since the NCAA is contractually obligated to provide due process, I would argue that the four year wait deprived LSU of due process.

It's like the private schools in the LHSAA. Logic says they should have broken away long ago. But they have not.
There aren't too many examples of where multiple sanctioning bodies actually works. And thus people are scared of that.
