He’s #1 for me too. Bradie James would be second all time. Not as old as some of you baws so I can’t speak to Michael Brooks.

Bradie James and trev Faulk will always be my favorite linebacker duo.

A player’s pro career is essentially irrelevant when you’re ranking LSU players.

In terms of physicality, I'd place him mid-pack. In terms of being a royal pain in the arse for the opponent, I put him in the 95 percentile. The guy covered and an incredible swath of real estate.

Best LSU LB in my lifetime, I'd put James at 2 and Minter at 3

Albert Richardson, the GOAT of LSU backers. Devin falls into the conversation for #2 with James and Brooks

GOAT

ETA: I go back to '70 so it's not like Michael or Bradie were before my time. I just think Devin was better.

It's tough to overlook James' pro career which was long and successful.

What does his NFL career have to do with his LSU career??

Probably 3rd behind Michael Brooks and Eric Hill.
I was listening to Nate Newton, ex Cowboy OG talk about his playing days. He said their TE, Novacek , warned "Moose", Daryl Johnson to be on the lookout for Eric Hill, Cardinal Linebacker, because he was 6'3" 258 and would hurt you.
