At home watching with my Dad and brother.

Backstory:
My Mom was out of town the whole week before. In her absence My dad buys a big screen TV and tv cabinet for the games. He caught some shite when she got back. Totally worth it!

Great story!

I was home by myself.
Couldnt believe it!

I was stationed in Pearl Harbor. My family had flown in and I was watching the game in their hotel room with my Dad, brother, and best friend. When he hit the homerun I jumped up on the bed...hit my head on the ceiling and almost knocked myself out.

I’ll never forget. We were in destin. It was brilliant to see that magnificent moment.

I was only 2 years old but I can imagine the game was on in the living room. I’ve read about it, watched the documentary on it, and probably watched the YouTube video replay a good hundred times (any time I want to get pumped up about a game). I hate that I was too young to witness this moment. No matter how many times I watch the video, I get chills!

I was 11 years old, my dad was sitting on the couch, I was sitting on the floor facing the television. I used to do the scorebooks back then for my own personal enjoyment so I was using our coffee table as a desk while I sat their, thinking it was all over, then...

I must have thrown the book clear across the room and nearly hit my head on the ceiling when I jumped up. My dad was in shock and had a few tears because this was a moment neither of us were ever going to forget.

I was watching the game with some friends and my future wife. We were trying to find a radio feed on the beach, finally gave up and watched it on tv in the condo.
We ran out of decent vodka, then oj, then coke- finished the game by with some nasty arse vodka and ice tea.
Partied hard at Flora/Bama that night

I was 17 and bagging groceries. The meat department had a radio and I heard a bunch of yells across the store.

I didn’t see the HR until the newscast that night after I got off work.

Left field bleachers. As soon as he hit it I knew it had the distance - only question was whether it would be fair from that vantage point. Before the ball sailed over the fence the sea of gold jerseys began to pour out onto the field.
