Lol why

I didn’t have faith in Tim Lanier and Warren Morris (who didn’t have any HR in the season), plus didn’t want to witness us losing in the championship game. :(

It was on Saturday. I had been working OT too much, didn’t cut grass for about 6 weeks. Plus my wife kept bitching about the grass too high. So...

Very true, plus the “Miracle on Ice” when a bunch of brash college boys refused to believe they couldn’t beat the Russian Pros.

I was there. One of the greatest moments of my life. Was there with my late father. I’ll never forget it.

2nd row just a few feet to the first base side of home plate. Close enough to hear Tim Lanier tell Warren "pick me up" as they passed following Tim's strikeout.

You gave up with a runner on third and one out when LSU was down by 1? We had a freaking leadoff double and then moved over on a ground out to first. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Yeah no shite.

Also reminds me of the Kirk Gibson HR in the WS where you can see all the brake lights over the RF stadium light up from the people trying to beat traffic.

Didn't cut your grass for 6 weeks, but couldn't have waited 10 more minutes to cut it after the game?

You deserved to miss one of the top 5 moments in LSU history.

At the camp in Pierre Part drinking on the deck with customers. Still very easy to recall many particulars.

We hit a lead off double, the first out putting the runner at 3rd, down 1, and you left?

I tell my wife this every night when we go to bed. After a quick “nah” from her, it’s off to sleep.

Wedding reception for a buddy's brother in New Orleans near Carrollton in a house turned into little reception hall. Had a TV with rabbit ears in one of the old bedrooms.

Not really. Baseball makes me anxious like this too. I've turned off games like "God dammit plesse let me check in a few minutes and we won."

Sitting on couch, depressed, waiting for it to end at brother's house.

And you too. WTF is the matter with some of you? I was supremely confident that Morris would tie the game with a hit. Now the walk-off I did not expect. But unlike OP who was cutting his grass, I got to see it because of my confidence in Warren.

Again why? Lanier had a good CWS. He could have easily sac’d Wilson in.
