Missed out on being in the dome. Made the next three. I was home watching with my Uncle. My old man passed in 2001, just missed it.

Wish there was a HD video of Big Game Bob's half time interview with the veins popping out of his neck.

I was in the furthest seat from the action. Under the left/bottom counter of the Nokia sign in the end zone.
If I ever see Marcus spears in Charlotte I’m going to hug all 400 pounds of the big swagu .

I too was lucky enough to be there. My junior year, got to go with my dad. After that game, I thought it could never get any better, winning one as a student is the all time greatest. Then I had sons, if either of them is fortunate enough to play and win one at LSU, thought to myself, that would top it.
The game itself had me on edge for most of it, just knowing OU's history, seven national championships to our one. A dozen more allocated to them but unclaimed. 40 plus conference championships and the 2000 national championship which, at the time, was one of the greatest runs ever. I just looked back, they beat #1 Nebraska, #2 K state, #3 Florida State, #8 K State, #11 Texas and #23 Texas AM. So yeah, in addition to hearing boomer sooner a million times...
After the 2019 run though, going to all of the home games, the Texas game, OU game and then natty, it may have trumped the 2003 natty. Still not sure, but for right now, all other games are compared to those two.

San Salvador, El Salvador listening via internet when the radio stations used to stream games. Had some breakdowns and lost connection quite a few times but it was awesome!

I was there as well but I was still waiting in line during Spears' pick 6 and missed it.
The thing that I remember the most was actually prior to the game when the OU fans seemed really loud. It was definitely more than I expected. Then the LSU band came out and played pregame and the LSU fans damn near blew the roof off of the dome!

45 yard line 45 rows up. That place shook with several big plays throughout the night.

My dad was there right over the tunnel the team walked out of. Still have the copy of the Picayune with him in it. Not sure he even had a ticket, but somehow made it in.
I was in 6th grade at a new school. One of the friends I had met was an OU guy. Everyone gave me shite for wearing my LSU Starter Jacket. It was fun going back to school that next day!

Watching at the bar in Chevy’s at the old Reno Hilton. Was there to attend a conference and landed about 2 hours before kickoff. Great time with most of the bar cheering for underdog LSU vs mighty OU.

In the corner of the end zone that Spears scored in. Probably the best moment ever as a LSU fan. Was in school for Archer’s last year and three Crazy about Curly seasons. Never thought I’d ever see it.
Went to all the games except Arizona and USCE. New it was a special season when LSU went to Bama and destroyed them. I’ll never forget after the game, while waiting for the
ex wife to come out of the bathroom. Had a Bama gentleman walk up to me and said that was the best team he’d seen play at Bama in 15-20 years. If you remember, Oklahoma had played there earlier in the season.
Didn’t think LSU would get the shot to play Oklahoma but I remember staying up late in Atlanta after the sec championship watching the game that would decide if we went or southern cal go. Think is was the Hawaii game but I could be wrong.

Very first row in the endzone. Won a single student lottery ticket after graduating that December and went by myself. Almost entire front 2 rows were single tickets so it was pretty fun.

I was on the field. LSU sideline. Dad worked for the ticket office for nearly 20 years. Still have the ticket in its plastic laniard. Best game experience I've ever had.
