I was in the Loge, 50 yard line, best seats in the Superdome.

I am lucky.

I was there too and it still goes down as the best weekend of my life, hands down. I was 23. Talk about a lifelong dream coming true. I was there in 07 too and it was a totally different feeling imo.

Top Section; 20 yard line. Dude next to me passed out by halftime...hammered. Old men in front of me had tears in their eyes as they said over and over again "never thought we would see this".

At home. My first born was 5 months old, and instead of spending thousands of dollars on a ticket to the game, I spent thousands of dollars on a rear projection 57 inch HDTV, so I could watch the game in HD. I remember having my whole family and a bunch of friends squeezed into my living room, because few of us had any way to watch it in HD. That TV finally died a couple years ago.

And they did. A friend on mine is a Trooper who made one leg of that run.

It was all funny in a way. The call he made to her, interrupting her at church. The three or four calls that followed that one...but the best was when we were leaving the hotel room to go eat before the game. He asked me if I had his ticket, I said no. That little nervous laugh as if he thought I was kidding.

They were divorced within a year or so. I still can’t believe that she didn’t give the present that contained the ticket on Christmas Eve.

Glad I got away from the politicians.

Deja Vu strip club in Shreveport. Buddy threw up under his chair right next to the main stage. Partied all night. Was a freshman at Centenary College in Shreveport, transferred to LSU the next year. What a time to be alive

Slidell, LA - eating steaks, drinking beer - watching it....

Still remember the halftime rant from Stoops to Lynn Dawson about scoring defense...

Superior in NOLA, b/c they didn't do the points yet for students so it was a legit lottery and I didn't get a ticket.

Lol at the “but still cheered for LSU” as if you’re not supposed to.

Lucky for me my friend as in really old friend a true New Orleans guy who was in the hospitality industry since doing tour bus gigs at a very young age would get Suger Bowl/Superdome tickets every year, beaucoups of them. I'm sure a few people on this board know him,
ok enough... ! Me and my boys went to the game and that was the greatest night of my life !!! We screamed so loud, stayed long after the game was over high fived a lot of players. For some reason I just remember Peterman and a couple other O line guys yelling/celebrating with.
My wife stayed at the Inter Continental and watched the game on tv, she was so excited to see us after the game! We partied all night, and oh what a night !!!

I was watching it in the Saenger Theatre.....it took pretty much most of the extra money I had at the time to get to New Orleans, secure a room, eat, and drink....I couldn't get a ticket

ETA It was one of the most fun times in my life.
