You need a coach who has recruiting experience, able to deal with press on a daily basis, donors, and still be able to lead young men. Kelvin Sheppard is good coach but has zero experience neither does Joe Brady. They are both young in their NFL careers and also if they wanted to coach in college they would already be coaching college.

Lane is going to want the brinks truck backed up and for a long time. I think he is going to milk this and the season ole miss is having for a big pay raise and a long term contract. If he goes 8-4 at ole mis for 5 years they are still happy. He does however have a lot more resources at LSU and probably will be really successful.

Well said. The thing that made Joey B great is he trusted the guys he was throwing to and they trusted him to get them the ball. JD does not have the trust.

Miles was stubborn and wouldn't change. At least O saw the future of college football. The forward pass!!! O learned in 1 year to let his coaches coach and he was the head coach of the best football team in College Football History!!! Miles was to set in his ways. He should have been fired in 2015.
