In the Dome. Sitting dead smack in the middle of the Oklahoma section. There was a beautiful OU coed in front of us. Every time she sat, her jeans slid down and revealed her red thong. Mesmerizing. But not as mesmerizing as what transpired on the field. Spears galloping right at me with what would turn out to be the game winning touchdown. Suffocating defense all night. The clock expiring on a punt that seemed to disappear into the rafters. Champions. Champions of all of college football, just four years after the program was all but dead. Sheer ecstasy in the streets of New Orleans.

I WAS THERE! WE STARTED A CHANT TO PISS OFF CHOKELAHOMA FANS
" WIN YOUR CONFERENCE"
" WIN YOUR CONFERENCE"
possibly the most nerve wracking game ever as offense had issues finishing and D held on with multiple 4th down stops near the end.

On the field. I was 18 years old and a freshman in college. My cousin was a cameraman and got me and a buddy a job with ABC basically being a gopher.

With my uncle in the dome. Only time I’ve seen him cry, including both of his parents’ funerals

In the superdome around some obnoxious ohio state fans and then they started to cry

I was an 8th grader in middle school, living with my parents. I watched the game with my parents in our living room. When Justin Vincent broke out a 50+ yard run on our first drive of the game and my family going berserk all around me, I knew we were going to win tht game. Very good m memory of my family and I

It's cool you said that about Boomer Sooner! I was above them just to the left and they drove me crazy. I really don't understand how it's tolerated. Even OU fans cant be that obnoxious. I've never heard a more obnoxious overdone cacophony like that ever!!
PS it was my birthday that night

Last row of the upper deck of the Dome at about the 50 yard line. We could bang on the drop ceiling.

Watching here in Ga. In my first house , Hanging with my first born, who was 11 months old. I remember the surreal feeling of finally being atop the mountain. When all the post game hype was done, I remember turning off the tv and saying to myself, “now, what do we do?”
