The Dakota Winds Motel in kimball, SD. We go on an annual pheasant hunt up there, and it almost always falls on the SEC championship weekend.

Watched LSU/Notre Dame Sugar Bowl @ Atlantis in the Bahamas with about 200 Irish fans.
Friend got married during LSU/UGA 2009. I stood in the wedding and he's a fireman so we rode from church to reception on a fire truck. Watched most of the game in the back room of the church prior then caught the last 10 minutes on my phone on the fire truck.

Watched the ole bounce pass over the shoulder fake field goal attempt at an all-inclusive in Mexico on a bachelor party. Runner up would have to be the Bluegrass miracle while in Hawaii- game ended at like 10am HST if memory serves me right.

I don't know about "watching" since it was Halloween night, 1959. I was a kid out trick-or-treating and it seemed that every house we went to had the game on the radio! That's the year after I saw LSU beat Tulane 62-0 and announced to my dad that LSU was where I wanted to go to college! He was a big Tulane fan and hated LSU!

How long were you there? I visited there once in late July 2010.

I was there from May of '10 to March of '11. We provided Medevac there. It was a shithole when you came in July but it got better when we moved across to the other side of the airfield. Well, better, but still Afghanistan.

I was in and out of Kandahar all during the deployment. Speaking of a shithole....smelled like it too.

Yeah that place sucked too. That's what happens when you have a base intended for 5,000 inhabitted by 30,000. Also didn't help that the "poo pond" was upwind from most of the base which meant the breeze always carried that smell.

I was up at Kabul Int'l Airport as an liaison officer to IJC for the ACCE-A.

Ali Air Base, Iraq for the national championship game in January 08. The services flight set up this giant tent called the "big top". One side was Ohio State, the other LSU. Game was on this huge projector screen.

I worked a 0700-1900 shift after waking up at 0100 to watch the game...didn't feel tired at all for some reason.

Watched three seasons in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Most memorable was the BCSNCG in January 2004. In a small tent on FOB Pacesetter, Iraq, surrounded by OU fans. Won't ever forget that one.
