not sure if serious, but yeah…. it was the same season we made the Super Bowl run…. we went to Rome and Florence, Italy…. i was upset about missing the game too, because the saints were beating everyone and it was a big game… it was a night game, not sure if Monday or Sunday…. anyway, we're getting ready to go around Florence and sight see and i turn on the TV while the wife is getting ready and what's on?? the saints vs. the giants… suffice it to say, we didn't go out that morning until the game was over….

Shindand, Afghanistan. It was the 2010 opener against North Carolina. We had the Geaux Zone broadcasting and were watching the game via skype on my computer. We then projected the game onto a sheet covered piece of plywood so everyone could watch. The broadcast was about 2 full plays ahead of what we were watching but we didn't care.

Watched our comeback victory over Florida in 2004 from Guam.
Watched the 2010 opener against UNC from the MWR tent at Kandahar Air Base, Afghanistan (4 AM to 7 AM).
Watched all of the other nationally televised games in 2010 from my dorm in Kabul, Afghanistan. All at some very early morning time where I had to be somewhat quiet not to waken everyone. That was very difficult to do, especially when I wanted to scream at JJ during the last seconds of the Tenn game: "Snap the fricking ball!" instead of looking to the sideline like a deer in headlights.

Outside of Port-au-prince Haiti. Friend and I watched the 2007 championship there at nearby mission. Almost got kidnapped on the way back home and had to run for our lives. Geaux Tigers.

Not watched, but I listened to LSU vs Florida when Emitt Smith was with them, while I was on patrol in the North/South Korean DMZ.

That place was (and I'm sure still is) as shite hole even by Afghan standards.
How long were you there? I visited there once in late July 2010.

LSU-Bama 35000 feet flying to California.
Not LSU but my favorite was Saints-Colts superbowl in Belize. Wife and I were the only ones from Louisiana there and by the time the game was over everyone was pulling for the Saints.
