I'll say this and see if this answers the OPs question. If you see JD in the game you know you have a chance.

I started with Dinardo. I will list my top 4 in order. Too many possibilities for 5th.

Badger
Daniels(still feels weird)
Burrow
Faulk

Your list is accurate. I would add in Jeremy Hill as well. Everytime he carried the ball seemed like he had a steam above everyone else on the field.

The question was the most exciting players you have seen. Most of the people in this forum were not alive to see either
No, not quite. The question was

Where does JD5 rank all time among LSU fans as most exciting to watch?
That's a bit different than whether you saw them play live.

And let's clarify- most exciting doesn't equate to 'best' player, so no reason for the Burrow purists to get wadded up over that.

I'd say Honey Badger, simply because he routinely made impossible plays in 2011. Dude is running down on the kick coverage, comes in for the tackle, and without breaking stride he forces a fumble, scoops and scores. Or comes off a blitz, you think he's got a sack... no, he's got the ball and a TD.

Burrow- it was a different type of excellence. Basically, it was like watching someone play Madden on Easy Mode, but in real life.

Daniels- he's like watching the top 5 Star recruit, playing backyard football against a bunch of middle schoolers. He'll throw deep because he can outthrow everyone... oh, wait, did you really just call 5 Mississippi and try to rush him? Now he can run around/through everyone.

I can’t even lie, JD might go down as my favorite QB and tiger ever.

Burrow was the Alpha of Alpha's...the gun slinger threw 60TDs, JD5 has 38 total

JD5 is the most gifted athlete I can remember..

his improvement from last year is amazing...

ASU fans must be like WTFrick....

I was born in 66, so I don't really know what it was like when they played

but I've seen the Cannon run against Ole Miss that is famous, but if I am honest, he looks slow in that footage, JD5 would smile as he's passing Cannon down that sideline...

am I wrong?

lineman back then were about 100 lbs lighter...

the game has changed

so I give the edge to modern players..

For their play at LSU, I would put him only behind Burrow, Matthieu, and Faulk. Just slightly ahead of Fournette, and then a gap to OBJ.

JMHO, and subject to change with my mood.

But then you remember the defense and if you leave the other team 14.6 seconds on the clock with a chance to win you say awww shiit

Yes burrow got us the natty and handles with such swag but JD is just so fun to watch. He runs smooth like butter.
