That's ridiculous.

There was a time when average QB play was the best we could hope for.

They do not for players 2001 and prior.

Rohan’s bowl game vs Illinois isn’t on the list for example.

And it's kind of stupid that they don't go retroactively include those stats throughout history.

They're there. Add them.

Though, I'm sure the NCAA has some reason to point to as to why they don't do that.

Question about the top 10 single game passing yards.... where’s Rohan Davey’s 444 yard record setting Sugar Bowl performance? That should be 3rd just ahead of Hodson’s 438 vs Tennessee.

He could finish with over 5,000 pyds and 50 tds. Early 2000's Texas Tech and Houston numbers there. LSU #2 all-time passer in 2 seasons.

Crazy stiff, right now!

Ty Detmer and David Klinger stand out on that list for doing it in 1990. Not to take away from the others, but I wonder how they would do in modern times.

Where is SFP to start numerous threads of how JaWalrus was the best LSU QB ever?

I mean he was Osteen level preaching how JR was hands down the greatest Tiger ever.

JR has been silent ever since he left. Good

Convert to per-game for level field.

I know they weren’t included for a players total but they were counted and were listed on LSUs records. Our media guides and most record histories list this game. Plus we know it happened, it’s a matter of Sugar Bowl record and history, there’s no dispute over the yardage.

True, and maybe Burrow has spoiled me, but I've watched Etling highlight videos lately..............and yeah, he was pretty average.

Perhaps, but he was talented enough to be drafted by the Pats, valuable enough that they attempted to experiment with him at WR in order to keep him around, and still "good enough" to stick it out with the Falcons practice squad.

He played hard and played well enough in a system that did him nor anyone else any favors.

On pace for 7,869 career yards w/ playoff and National Title. Puts him #2 in career yards in only 2 seasons

Just seems lazy, with all the stats tech we have now days, not to go back and amend players career numbers. If you’re going to unfairly benefit teams who play extra games currently how do they justify not amending past performances in the same situations? What’s worse is that they have amended some stats from 02 I believe. Think about what playing extra games did for Derrick Henry’s career for example. Another head scratcher from the NCAA.
