Yes likely 7 or 8. They aren't going to move many teams above LSU that won down.
Which is why I hate preseason polls. Polls should only come out once teams have played (I actually think wait until week 3 or 4), but the TV partners want it for marketing purposes

I’m gonna say 4-5… a lot of analyst independent polls have us Top5 after week1. Well probably get some #1 votes that will pull us way up.

Another few years of no ranked matchups in week 0 or 1 and they may stop caring.
1 ranked matchup through 2 weeks so far.

I'm thinking 8 or 9. Did enough to pass OU and TAMU, the voters will likely be split on putting us ahead of Ole Miss, and I believe people are deservingly very high on Miami right now.

I don’t care where we are today. Just keep playing the way they played Saturday night and at the end of November we will be where we want to be. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

Watching Oregon, they should drop precipitously in my opinion. The voters probably won’t drop them that far though.
