Before conference started, I heard/read fans say the following: is this the best LSU team ever, top to bottom we are strong at the plate, this pitching is going to take us a long way, this team is way better than Skip’s teams, can we go undefeated in conference.

This is going to be unpopular after a loss, but I think this team has more talent than any other LSU team had. Unfortunately, that talent hasn’t positively impacted the season so far, and it might not. But ten years from now, when we’re looking at careers that are more than half over, this team will probably stand out, and that’s the result of being able to topgrade the team with the portal.

Everything you said was said, literally has not been said by anyone.
What a dumb post and example of our chicken shite fans.
Every goal this team has is still out in front of it. Will they get there or not? That is why we watch the games.
But nobody has said this is the greatest team ever, except for this one dumb poster who is trying to make some dumb point that is only in there mind.
This is a good team that has a chance in the postseason if the hitting heats up. There have not been many better baseball teams this season. With the right combo of hitting and pitching this team could make a run.
If they do make a run, I hope this fair weather fan does not try to jump back on the buss. They should lose their ticket on the buss after this post.

People get excited and their looking at everything with an LSU lens. Even if all of that is the case, shite happens sometimes. Look at the gymnastics team, there wasn't a team out there that could beat them this season, except themselves, and they did. That's why they play the game.
No, this team isn't the best ever, but they still might be good enough to win it all. I don't see it, but again, that's why they play the game.

You can't talk about pitchers being HS level... you can't mention someone not being able to hit... hell, all they want is "that's baseball" to be plastered everywhere.

I heard someone say on the radio they thought LSU could go undefeated in conference. I’ve read the other things on this forum.
It’s just ridiculous people do not have realistic expectations. But, I guess to each their own. I guess that’s what make sports great. But it also shows how some fans are unhinged by some of the replies to my post.

I just find it funny that the consensus after the Tennessee weekend was to get 1 at A&M, then 2 against Arkansas and USC and we get to host. Then we get 1 at A&M and everyone loses their minds lol.
