For me it was the aTm game last year. He proved he was one tough MF but more than that it was his grit and determination to win. And in my mind he did. It was only the royal screw job by the refs that handed that game to the Aggies. I was a Burrow fan for life after that game.

Interview after the miami game. Seem to have a different swagger from any other qb I’d ever seen.

First game vs Miami. I could tell he had an extremely high football IQ and just needed experience with his WRs.

Miami when he switched the play at the los and Brossette housed it, I knew he was going to be pretty good. Hadnt seen that in a while.

When he drug UGA last year, I knew he was going to be different.

UCF last year when he took the cheap shot then got up and went in dry on them for the rest of the game, I knew we had something special.

3 & 17 this year I knew this was going to be a fun season and he was the one to get us where we wanted to be

I knew before but when UCF put a fricking cheap shot on him and popped up and drug his nuts on their program I knew this baw was ready to ride.

Yeah, Georgia game but what I saw against UCF confirmed that he would be very very good this year. Obviously I had no expectation of this though.

Go back and watch the Ohio State spring game footage. The throws he is making now are exactly the same.

First time I saw him play. It was fairly obvious if you are Not a sheep and can see and think for yourself.

Miami last year ...

First game getting the nod over Brennan despite not having the stronger arm ...

Folkses will ask this same question about Brennan next year after we’re 9-0 and done trucking Bama in Death Valley ...

Brennan has his summer of 20,000 passes coming this year ...

UCF game is where I really knew LSU had someone special in Joe Burrow. When he took that hit I jumped up out of my chair and was in awe because I thought UCF was going to route LSU. Burrow and Co. make the comeback and the rest is history.

I thought he would be good this year, but the Texas game showed me that he was an NFL QB. He made NFL throws and did things that college QBs just don’t do.

I knew Joe had it when he arrived on campus for Fall practice only before the start of the season and won the job. Now to say that this season he exceeded my wildest expectations is still an understatement. No one gave him credit in 2018 for how quickly he adjusted to LSU and the team accepted him. I am so glad for Joe and thrilled he could become only the second Heisman trophy winner in LSU history!!! Geaux Jeaux!!!

When I saw him in the Ohio St Spring games.

As silly as that sounds.. he looked like a legit quarterback.

I was concerned when he got here he would only be here for 1 year and people laughed at that ever being a possibility.

Thankfully we got him for two years.
