I accepted him from the day he was given the job officially and supported him in the pursuit of leading LSU back to where we belong on top. He certainly wasn't my first choice and unfortunately, I didn't initially believe he was quite capable of getting us there. I started to feel a whole lot better as soon as we kicked off 18' by routing top 10 Miami when we had only barely cracked the initial polls at 25 or whatever and were widely predicted to go 6-6, 7-5. Going into Auburn a few weeks later and coming away with an enormous W against another top 10 squad on the road, I started to feel something pretty damn special happening. In my wildest dreams, I couldn't have imagined getting to the peak so soon and in such historic fashion, but I couldn't be prouder of coach O and elated that he was the man who put it all together!

I had hesitations with the hire when he was permanently named, however that's not to be misconstrued with me hating the hire altogether.

There were a few growing pains along the way, we all know that, but I will say that every season since he was made the HC, our record improved. This past season, he put everything into place. He really did and he deserves a ton of credit for that and I accept whatever he decides to do is in the best interest of the program.

He's earned the benefit of the doubt. Winning a natty is no easy task.

Glad he's here.

I got so upset at what Herman did to LSU that I was actually grateful he was there. I knew he would be years ahead of what Les Miles was doing to our Football program. We were in a deadly spiral with Miles as HC. I didn’t imagine he would win a NC in a few years. And I knew he was a players coach and great recruiter. Now we are just really blessed he is our Head Coach, and pretty sure he will never leave LSU to go anywhere else. Go Coach Oeaux

After the 2018 season. I felt as though we were headed in the right direction and only a Louisiana boy, that believed, was gonna motivate this team to beat Bama.

I love the fact that he’s one of us. And beat the “goat” at Bama. RTWFU!

Accepted? Day 1. I was ready to wait and see.

Thought he was the guy for the job? Beating Auburn in Jordan Hare 2018.

I hated the process that Alleva put in place. When I accepted O was when he fired Canada. That wasn’t what he wanted. He hired the big name, and realized it was a mistake.
