Any play that ended up beating the Gumps.

Jordan Jefferson throwing an absolute dime to CJ Mosley in the national championship

In third place I have to put Clyde Edwards-Helaire reception at the end of the second quarter vs Alabama in 2019. (Actually, a few plays from that game might be tied for #3 on my list.)
This. I lost my mind and had to run out of the house for a minute because we were laying an absolute beat down on Bama. That's when I 100% knew we would not be stopped by anyone for the rest of the year. Not just becuse it was Bama in Ttown, but because righ after Tuas pick to Queen it was proof of a precise killer instinct that that team had to go for the throat. With that much time left, most teams, and most LSU teams would have been ecstatic with a FG to go to half.

More or less, that's where I was, too. Why was Nick pressing so hard that late in the half when he could regroup? Because he had to. He could not afford to waste a single possession.
I knew that our guy (#9) could beat their guy the rest of the way, the rest of the schedule. And that the team was with him.

i bet a bunch do not know who victor jones was either. he stood out in the 1987 TAMU game with 2 TD runs.

Man theres been so many. The 37 yd Touchdown from Russell to Bowe against Oregon State has always stood out to me and been one of my favorites...the 3rd and 17 against Texas was awesome to witness all the Leonard Fournette runs in '15 especially against Auburn in the extreme heat. But that 37 yd touchdown with just under over a minute left was a favorite of mine. Especially with the Russell two point conversion to follow it up and tie the game to send it into Overtime.

No plays front the 28-8 beat down of ND in 1971?
Numerous goal line stands, interceptions by Casanova and Capone. Jones to Hamilton TDs.
I found a video but it's so blurry it's virtually worthless.

Not 15 minutes ago I told my son about that. He and I were at the game, but he was too young to remember it. That stadium was eerie as the crowd started to go wild during the commercial break. That noise was almost sustained until the game ended.

LSU didn't snap the ball until 8 seconds and then threw deep. If it had dropped incomplete you've maybe got 3 seconds left for a 40 yard field goal.
Three seconds is two more than you need. No controversy here. That was a great call.

Surprised no one else mentioned this gigantic play.

This was such an awesome moment. Arkansas jumped out to a 14-0 lead and the offense wasn’t clicking in the first half. The return tied the game and then the floodgates opened, to Bobby Patrino’s chagrin, capping off a 12-0 regular season.
In a season where Mathieu had so many all-world plays, I have never seen a defensive player take over a game the way he did against the Hogs. And he was playing out of position at Free Safety IIRC

Tommy Banks ripping through Florida in 97 stretching for TD. You knew that game was going to be different!

For me, it will always be Sammy Martin’s 67 yard touchdown versus TAMU.
