My brother and sister went to Ole Miss and I went to LSU. Due to that I have been to the grove many times and have had a pretty damn good time. I was thinking today about my favorite moment in the Grove. It was in the year 2007 and we were heading into the game with Ole Miss who was 0-6 in SEC play. A huge group of LSU fans took a walk down the walk of champions screaming 0-6, 0-6!! Over and over again. I joined the little mini parade, and I’ll never forget how pissed off all of those OM fans were!

Going back after the thrashing of 2011, to see it mostly empty. Not only did the stadium empty, but everyone left campus too.

Seeing the OM fans in disgust when the obnoxious "LSU pimps" paraded around. Whatever happened to that group btw?

I was in the grove watching on tv when ole miss lost to Jacksonville St. One of my favorite memories was watching all the sad fans walking back to their tailgates after the game. They were all so defeated and fed up with football after that.

Oxford can be fun but the Grove is much ado about nothing.

My wife and I rode the Old English bus and from the very top we watched campus security mak a couple of underage males pour down the street drain a case of brewskies.

We booed and shouted to security what a waste of brewskies !

- Yelling at Archie on a balcony Friday night in the square he felt it best to retreat inside.

- 2 Flat tires on a blacked out area of hwy 258 between Oxford and Batesville at 3am. Only person to stop was a cop who lingered way too long.

-Hitching a ride to Oxford to watch Eli crumble, all while yelling "This is the nicest highschool stadium I've ever been to."

The library was way better than the grove, too pretentious.

2005- some 70 year old female Ole Miss fan called all the girls we were with whores. I thought that was pretty funny.

I’ve just now remembered another good story. When I was a freshman at LSU, my brother was a senior at Ole Miss. We went to the game that year and had a great time in the Grove. Definitely drank a little too much. My brother and his best friend from his fraternity decided they wanted to go mess with the President of the university who lived close to the Grove. I think they’re crazy, but as we are walking past his home, they run up to the front door, hit the doorbell and then jump off his porch to hide in the bushes. My brother landed awkwardly on his knee and tore up his ACL. He was having surgery a couple days later. What a dumb arse
