1984 Notre Dame.....It was an afternoon game. We had filled 2 Greyhound busses and we had 20 cases of beer on each bus and had to stop in Alexandria for a refill. I had to sit in the middle of the Irish fans and watch that fricking mascot get up there and cheer after Allen Pinckett beat us. They were huge underdogs and we were undefeated. 30-22 and it was hot as hell.

The worst was the first time a saw them loose. 1970 vs A and M. McElroy running down sideline about 70 yards with 2 minutes left.

October 9,1993.
Florida 58
LSU 3

I consider that the low point of LSU football.
Curley was gone the next year and things started on the upward trend.

58-3 FL game I stayed until the very end. I was in total disbelief at how shitty we had become.

Only thing good about 2008 Troy was everyone around where my dad was left all their liquor. Me and my gf at the time and another friend went to where he was and got hammered .

Hard liquor was the only way that game was watchable. Down 3-31 at the end of the third, then finally Miles replaces Jarrett with Jefferson and we score. Even after we pulled the game out late, it still felt like a loss-- a feeling which was confirmed the next two weeks with a blowout loss to Ole Miss followed by an inexcusable upset at a two-win Arkansas team.

To put the cherry on top of the 2024 Bama and 2025 A&M games, we scored meaningless touchdowns with less than 1:00 in the 4th quarter of both games to help bolster the embarrassing final score.

We came close to doing the exact same thing in the 2022 Tennessee game but we threw an INT in the end zone.

Glad it led us to the Lane Train.

November 19, 1988, when Miami beat LSU 44–3 at Tiger Stadium in torrential rain.

1988 Miami has to be it. Monsoon. Goal post damage by storm.. We got our asses handed to us. I was drenched but the following day I was at the Saints game when they crushed Denver.

We stayed until the end, tailgated through the "monsoon" until traffic cleared, and on the way back to NOLA, plenty of traffic accidents on I-10. Got back and stopped at Camellia Grill for breakfast before the sun came up.
