I think I know which one he's taking about it's a long high pitched sound. Not even sure which instrument plays it but it's when the other team is driving. It's like an alert type of sound and they just keep playing it and playing it until they stop them. They played it more in this game then I've ever heard or seen and I liked it. Has to be a little distracting for the opposing team.

It’s called Red Zone. Band plays it when opponent is in the red zone.

Don’t know what the song is called but the band plays it when the opposing teams offense is on the bands side of the field. They play it a lot more at away games. They’ll play it until the opposing team breaks the huddle. It sounds like an inner city school on purpose and it’s to try and disrupt the opposing team from getting the right calls in and stuff

It isn’t a “song” per se. It’s a fricking siren. Lol. The main voices are trumpet and melophone, alternating tri-tones. It’s intended to annoy the ever loving crap out of the opposing offense when they get into the red zone. I’m not a fan...because it’s annoying. But, I guess that’s exactly the point.

Yeah I know exactly which one OP is talking about. They showed it on TV for either Ole Miss or Georgia, can't remember which one. But the trumpets rock back and forth and play a siren noise

You’re talking about Redzone. New this year. Played when opposing team in the redzone. It’s meant to sound horrible and distracting. Worked this past weekend against UGA. Expect loud and proud against Bama.

Pretty much like cowbells? It sucks and someone from GBFTL should be shot for starting it.

I like it!! It's annoying as hell but that's the whole point. It can be intimidating AF if LSU is playing a physical game and we are up by some points.

Georgia Tech has a very similar sound they play when they play Georgia as well. At least that the only time I've ever watched GT play lol. They may play it for everyone but I have heard it when they play GA specifically. GA had one as well.

I know exactly what you're talking about. It sounds like a chant and the youngsters are yelling (I think) "stop!" every few seconds over and over. I never heard it before this year.

It's a shortened version of Earthquake that they decided to start playing for 3rd down this year.

On 2nd down they have a mini-cadence that was introduced last year

It’s the theme to the 1991 movie Cape Fear.
