The melt on this board has gone to DEFCON 1 since the Alabama game. Did that game actually go WORSE than you guys expected? Going into the game, I thought they might put up 70 on us and I didn't know if we'd even get past midfield.

This whole season has been a total shite show, so I don't really understand why Saturday's game heightened your despair to much. Why was this game the straw that broke the camel's back for so many of you?

They could have easily.

I think you're viewing the reaction incorrectly. The ranting and frustration after Saturday is more about people seeing where we should be (competing with Bama) vs where we are (losing to Mizzou and Moo State). I think most of us expected what happened on Saturday.

They could've easily put 70 on this team if they wanted. Not sure if you were watching the same game.

I agree with the OP. I get Os meltdown has been much talked about but two weeks ago, everyone was questioning Os fire and saying that he just claps on the sideline. SO when he has some fire and is getting on his coaches for their poor performance all of a sudden its a bad thing.

Don't act like you have never seen Saban, Dabo, or Urban Meyer throw some shite and yell at assistants.

Like Steve Spurrier said after USCe Defensive coaches Deke Adams and Kirk Botkin got into a fight on the sidelines in 2013 "at least they care".

No. Again I think the point is being missed. People are upset because O made these hires in the first place and apparently has no control over his owns hires. He can throw a fit but he put himself in this position, and based on his own interviews sounds like he isn't even in the know on any in game play calling. He said he didn't even know that they were not doing a Qb sneak on 4th and inches. How does that make him look as HC?

We just keep losing and he just keeps saying we gotta get better players and scheme better but nothing really changes. People are tired of it

just because it was expected, doesn’t make it acceptable.

and you do sorta have to wait until it happens to truly melt about it in full.

For one....a head coach admitting that on Fourth and inches he believed a sneak would be called and that wasn't the play

And number 2, Stingley not covering Bama's best wide receiver at all times

These are just inexcusable coaching blunders...no matter how bad the final score was.

Umm it's having a tantrum and then admitting he wanted a sneak run on 4th down and Stingley on Smith. What the hell is he doing as head coach if he can't tell his OC to run a sneak on 4th and inches? He can't get with Pelini during the game week and say Stingley should be on Smith, we have to wait until half time for that when the game is completely out of hand? But oh thank goodness he yelled at other people for not doing their jobs. He should try berating himself sometime.

Yeah well, they are actually really good coaches that are demanding excellence and not throwing tantrums because they are losing.

Most people held out some hope that Coach O could have the team motivated and at least be competitive as the mark of a potential turnaround to finish the season out strong.

That didn't happen.

He's been doing this kind of shite since he was hired. In 2017 he threw Tommy Robinson under the bus for starting Brossette against Troy. Just last week, he called out Ensminger and Linehan for their gameplan and play calling against A&M. This shite's not new for him.

It actually went better than expected. I didn’t think the offense would move the ball at all. 17 points sucks but it’s about what we usually muster against Bama, 2019 aside.

O's Meltdown shows that he isn't just taking it.

I truly didn't know if O would can Pelini until I saw that meltdown. He threw the headset, walked closer and threw the cords down too.
