It is beginning to resemble Les Miles all over again, that's why, and if accurate then pull the plug NOW.

It was 45 at half, can we stop pretending we held them to the low low total of 55?

Offensive coaching was garbage. The defense continued to be garbage. Basically all coaching was garbage. Couple that with recruiting that doesn't appear to be filling the biggest needs on this team, and you see exactly how far we've fallen in less than a year.

Nothing, there are some people here who are more interested in hiring and firing coaches than football itself.

Don't go back and edit all your posts to (no message) again when you again are made a fool of for continually trotting out ridiculous excuses for the utter garbage we are watching.

I'm not pretending anything. They definitely COULD have put up more points, which is what I was expecting anyway.

We moved the ball way better than I thought we would after the shite show that was the A&M game.

Basically the same as every other game this year, then, right?

Nothing about the recruiting class changed on Saturday, though. Triston Leigh has been trending away from us for a month or so. He visited Oklahoma this past weekend. This was all known before the Alabama game.

No. Arkansas offensive game plan was fine for example.

This game just cemented that everything we thought was right and it we are in fact now a dumpster fire. I really don't get the point of this thread. This game was confirmation.

It's easy to have a good offensive game plan when the opposing defensive line is decimated by covid. It's hilarious that you would point to the Arkansas game as "fine". We should have lost and despite their early season success, Arkansas is not a good football team.

I just don't understand why you needed this game to confirm what we've been seeing all year. Have you seen Mississippi State play since we played them? They're hot garbage and we made them look like a playoff contender. Missouri had like one scholarship WR and they shredded us. We made Bo nix look like a Heisman candidate. If Mond hadn't have been truly awful, A&M would have scored a lot more too.

Were you really that delusional that you thought we were anywhere near Alabama's level this year? I mean, obviously you were, but I can't wrap my head around why you were.

You're just making excuses to run with this stupid thread.

I'm really failing to see your point here. Are we not supposed to criticize everything in the program when we get confirmation that we truly are as terrible as it appeared? We should just sit here and be like "oh well?"

Question is wmhay are you not pissed about it? It is high time people understand the importance of what happens next. If nothing changes we will not be the same LSU for long

I try not to get pissed about things I have no control over.

I agree that the program is at a crossroads here, which is amazing considering where we were just 11 months ago. Hopefully the correct changes are made to right the ship. I'm not very optimistic, though, considering the contracts involved.

ust last week, he called out Ensminger and Linehan for their gameplan and play calling against A&M. This shite's not new for him.

Pretty sure he called them out after the Missouri. I know he wasn't pleased with the lack of a commitment to the running game. I had other things going on after Auburn, but I'd be really surprised if he didn't criticize them after that game as well.

They had 45 points and almost 500 yards at halftime.

It was an ugly ugly game

Because people here measure their dick size to Bama and Saban nonstop. It’s an obsession.

You don't think Orgeron is guilty of this?

In a season like this, you look for progress. It’s the fact that the same issues keep popping up schematically & the coaching looks to be the culprit that has people trending further negative despite the expectation of a blowout last week.

You have to look at how and why you lose — not just points and who you played against.

Otherwise, it’s difficult to explain how the last HC got let go.

Good post and I agree with everything you said.

But, objectively, there were improvements on offense against Alabama. They did a good job of getting the ball out quickly. They were somewhat creative in how they used guys (more than any game so far this year), like using Bradford, and how they put Boutte in the backfield, etc. Most of the time the quick passing game is completely unimaginative, but against Alabama, some of it was clever and effective. And the offensive line played admirably and I was pleased with Rosenthal playing with a bit of an edge. We also had something like 230 yards and 14 points at halftime, which is pretty good.

The defense was a disaster from start to finish. Other than Roy, I can't really think of a bright spot. It didn't look like they didn't quit, so I guess that's good.
