It’s the principal of it. Are you aware of what your gov is doing to you? Right, you are ignorant and clueless

First off, stop ingesting large amounts of propaganda. Second, don't go on the recruiting board opening your got damn mouth about NIL and why LSU can't get a certain 5 star player. Just shut your dumbass up on the matter from now on.

Exactly. These collectives are nothing more than slush funds for whoever runs them to gain influence and wealth. These people don't care about players making money on NIL. They care about selling a pipe dream to fans to make them donate money. This is a scam like anything else. Its just wrapped up in something people are passionate about.

in a few years it will be we need 75$ a month to keep up. All the while the poeple running the collective are getting rich off your donations.

I’m good with $20 a month, how do I pay? I’m spending thousands every year as it is on lsu football so $20 isn’t gonna hurt me if it will help us win a natty.

But then it grows and grows just like everything else.

They squeeze the real fans out eventually

It may only be $20 a month but I feel that donating is just enabling the “NIL” problem. No way do I want to give my hard earned money so some mercenary/athlete can pull in more income than an actual business professional.

If you’re spending that much on tickets and bitching about NIL you should just stub hub the big games, donate the rest and tell TAF to go frick themselves.

At what point will it be better to contribute to the NIL collective instead of TAF. That is what I want to know.

I gotta pay the players now too?

Yeah fuk that

If too many people have THIS mentality, then you'll eventually also save on said tickets, TAF, parking, and crappy concessions, because we will suck without NIL contributions

If LSU could organize something worth a shite and effectively articulate the purpose and plan, id gladly give a modest amount. I imagine lots of us would

This whole topic is spinning out of control now that we've got conspiracy theorists and economics PhDs ("communism") weighing in. Very entertaining stuff. Would be good material for an SNL skit.

Now. I go to 3 home games and 4 away game per year and frick TAF. I would happily give to the NIL collective.

Why?
You can buy seats anywhere in the stadium the week of the game for cheaper
You can buy stadium club west side for every game for cheaper than 7k
