Not having it take 3 hours to get from your seat in TS back to your house.

Good games against quality teams is by far the most important. If we have a good back and forth game with UGA and Bama it will stay packed the entire game.
Good weather also helps. If it rains, that will clear people out even faster than heat.
Having games at a decent hour. Starting later 730 given the length of college games runs the risk of people leaving because it’s too late

Dont have the answers of how but the issues that need to be addressed are
Make it easier to get to/from the game.
Make it more comfortable.
Improve food and experience.
Two of my ideas to help these are:
Free water that is easily accessed and grabbed.
Lower capacity by turning some upper sections into "club" type areas similar to SEZ uppers.

Traffic and walking a mile to a parking lot are major problems. If you leave at halftime, it still takes forever to get to your vehicle and fight through traffic. People will continue to leave early until the fan experience is made more accommodating. LSU should consider shuttle services back to parking lots. Another bridge over the Mississippi River would help traffic flow faster as wel.

The in stadium experience does kinda suck after the early mass exodus. But to each his own. On the bright side for me, I had no traffic problems whatsoever from my parking spot (on campus) to I-10. I actually caught up to some friends to pulled out in the third quarter that had been sitting in the mass exodus traffic for 1 1/2 hours.

They need to redo the season tickets imo. Count attendance, and lower peoples ranks if that seat is empty during the 4th quarter. Put a fricking bar code on the seatback of every yellow chair, idk

And that’s why I don’t go anymore. I just answered the question. Personally, I will sit on my patio and watch the game without and holier than thou hypocrites fricking with me while I smoke.
I didn’t say it was right to leave the game early. What I said is what would help. If you don’t want to acknowledge my opinion on the matter, fine.
Smokers are not going to sit through 1.5 hours of commercial breaks in the action. They just aren’t. They also ain’t going to put up with hypocritical assholes that virtue signal their contemp to smokers, many who have their own vices that aren’t as visible such as being fricked up on illegal drugs, prescription meds or raging drunks being obnoxious.
It’s easier to sit at home and comfortably watch the big screen without dealing with assholes.
But again I say, let people leave and go outside into a predestined area to smoke and more would stay. Even better, let them step out and come back from wherever. If you had a camper or motor home and had to shite, would you not go there instead of the public restroom? Would many that stepped out not return if they could?
My 2cents before some hypothetical a-hole virtue signals “ trashy smoker”.

Keep the pedal to the medal in the 2nd half. None of that conservative bull$hit play calling in the 2nd half. Style points. Run up the score. Drop 60 on em. Play Brennan a couple series in the 2nd half. $1 hotdogs in the 2nd half. "People will come Ray. People will come" And they will stay for that $hit....

Only close games. The stadium is too big with too many corporate types, and the parking and traffic suck really really bad.
Let it alone.
Take what happens and white bitching and hypothesizing.

So glad you think you know me. I am a smoker, so is my buddy who was with me last night. Guess what we went the whole 5 or so hours in the stadium without a cig or drink.
Just my observation that it's a shitty excuse for leaving early but hey it's your money do what you want

What would keep people in the seats ?...
Come out and kick arse in the beginning of the 3rd quarter. If you’re in offense, throw a deep pass on 1st down. If we come out on defense, sack the qb or something...
Unfortunately, LSU is a 1st and 4th quarter team. We play our WORST ball right after halftime and the entire 3rd quarter.
So, after everyone sat through halftime, then the team comes out and plays sloppy ball, people get up and say, frick I’m gonna head out and beat the traffic.
I’m telling you. I see it and hear it every home game. And I’m not talking about just this year.

I’ve got an idea that will help...
FOR ALL
SEASON TICKET HOLDERS:
LSU should implement this immediately - -
Save your ticket and after the game they scan it at the gate and you will receive a 2% discount every time you stay until the end of a game that goes towards a credit towards next year’s tickets.
ETA: I’m referring to the cost of the actual ticket & TAF fee.

Yes, please sit your nicotine addicted arse at home.
Is Tiger Stadium one big haven for alcohol, nicotine and drug addicts that have to run out at half-time to get their fix? I don't think most of those leaving at the half have that problem.

Fix the traffic problem. That’s it, the only thing that needs to be addressed. I can deal with the other crap, but i cannot stand sitting in traffic for 2 hours to get home. Also parking closer to the stadium or a shuttle to bring fans that don’t pay to park the 2 miles away to their parking spots.
