BS, it is their school and they should show loyalty to it and want to stay. Give them something to stay is just crazy.

Maybe they need to make clear that when you buy one of the limited number of tickets the expectation is you stay.

And liquor. The games I have been to in Houston and Dallas are more enjoyable because you can drink the whole game.
You can always cut off sales at the end of the 3rd, by that time most people have a good buzz.

Fixing the contra flow to make it more efficient. Unless it’s a tight game going down to the wire, I think many people have concerns about traffic after the game. It takes 2-3 hours to get out of the parking lot at times.

What’s going to be your excuse next time the stadium empty’s out at halftime when it’s not raining?

Did anyone watch UGA vs Tenn? Large swaths of empty seats in that stadium despite it being a large SEC east rivalry game (inb4 Tennessee sucks). Can we stop pretending this only happens at LSU?

Top 10 opponents is the only answer I’ve seen that’s proved true. We’ll see people leave early for MSU but not against Georgia or Bama

It rained all game. We stayed but I’m not going to dog people for leaving last night.

I'm ok with people leaving last night, but I don't think the rain had much of an impact. They leave regardless. Not to mention the worst of the rain came in the 2nd half. I went without a poncho the whole first half.

I do think they should take away student seating if they can’t stay

There were more students in the student section at the end of the game than the rest of the stadium. I was in 422. Most people left before half when LSU scored the last field goal of the half. It's like the fans needed those 3 extra points to justify leaving. It wasn't even raining in the first half. Started a heavy sprinkle at halftime and stayed steady through the rest of the game but I didn't leave soaked.

Two things I grew tired of was the TV timeouts(I know you can't change that) and recognizing a group of people during every tv timeout. Most People don't care about the tennis group get together at a football game!

Do some Jersey, game ticket for next home game or some other type of giveaways by calling out the seat numbers during the game!

I think the biggest problem is traffic after the game. It takes 2 hours to get out of there after the game. That's ridiculous and I don't blame people for not wanting to sit through that.

It was an 8pm start in bad weather. I won't sit on those uncomfortable seats for 4+ hours in the rain. That sounds like something only those psychopathic gumps would do. I went to the game last year in Knoxville when that torrential monsoon hit and believe me, I couldn't get out fast enough at halftime.

What needs to be fixed ??

Take the games off of tv. That is the big difference. Back when the stadium was rocking, you had to be there to see them play.

Leave their rug rats with a sitter, is a f'ing cell on a light tower is too much to ask for? somebody needs to remind Ed the game is for 60 minutes , not 30.

It's hard to fix a problem if you don't know you have one. Sure, as people on THIS message board we see the stadium empty at half and how bad that looks. But I'd guess 50% of those who leave early don't even put the game on the radio in their car. They get home early, happy as a clam, and go about their night without ever thinking of the impact they had on the game. They have to put their kids to bed, drive 2 hours back home, etc.

Exactly. I keep seeing threads where people are complaining about the student section being empty. For EVERY game this season, the middle of the sideline gold seasts hasn't been full to start the game and has the least amount of people at the end of the game. In the 4th quarter last night, there were more people per seat in the west upper than the west lower bowl.

Some venues are much smaller than ours. Look at Bama, they do the same thing.
