I probably won’t buy tickets next year unless he replaces some of the offensive staff. He’s done nothing this year to warrant a raise and extension

Same reaction I've had the past few years with LSU football. Apathetic, I spend my money and time elsewhere nowadays.

The usuals will overreact and melt down. Doesn’t change much in the grand scheme of things. It has to be done regardless of whether or not O is being kept long term.

makes about as much sense as buying a house at above full market value while its fully engulfed in flames.

but its a very alleva thing to do

Give him a mediocre raise bc that's what this year was about. I'd say like 1% with incentives to improve the team and STAFF.........

Lol just more money LSU has to waste in a few years when he’s fired. Their funeral not mine.

Because he has done nothing to warrant an extension and he still has enough years remaining for it not to cause a problem in recruiting.

Next year something would need to happen one way or the other.

Don't care.

If the people running the program don't care you shouldn't either.

This is the biggest myth ever

He does not need an extension to preserve recruits

This is another way for coaches to milk more money from contracts

has to be done

Why?

He just finished year 2 of a 5 year contract.

Receiving pay and buyout way above his market value.
