Some of you spend far too much time perseverating on what the media may or may not say about LSU.

Who cares what they? Just keep winning
I don't really "care" what the media thinks, per se, but I do wonder what the narrative will be if we win.

I work for a company with a national footprint, and interact with folks every day from the east coast to the west, and down south as well. And they all know I'm dyed-in-the-wool LSU, full bore. So I've been getting a lot of "WTF does your idiot coach think he's doing?" questions.

Being the homer that I am, I have to explain that what they read in the media is NOT what's actually happening (every one of them thinks that LSU is the instigator in every lawsuit, and is also actively conspiring against the SEC to break the rules). I take it in stride, though, and just keep a smile on my face. And that's what I'll do on Monday, win or lose.

But, again, since 90% of the rest of the country gets their news fed to them from algorithm-driven media feeds, I wonder how those feeds will look on Monday if we win.

That's all, just curiosity, not a big deal to me.

They’ll try and cutdown whatever the performance is.

Or they’ll say that’s what you should expect from a $50MM roster

Kiffin left the Rebels after six years to take the job at LSU late last season. He left Ole Miss ahead of a trip to the College Football Playoff, declining the chance to compete for a national championship to instead take on a new role. The Rebels -- led by promoted defensive coordinator Pete Golding, now the full-time coach -- reached the national semifinals before falling to Miami.

They just write lies. Journalism is lost.

Ole Miss was too focused on all of the Kiffin hype to concentrate on the game.

Hey, I think you're on to something. This needs to be one of the billboards that JudgeHolden puts up from the GoFundMe account.

Better yet, fly it as a banner behind a plane over VHS.

The narrative will be that everyone knew Ole Miss wouldn't be as good this year and this outcome was pretty much what everyone expected. This will be the narrative with any big LSU win this year. LSU/Kiffin won't receive much credit from the usual blowhards.

I don’t know why some of y’all keep saying stuff like this. After the Clemson game, practically every media member immediately started saying how LSU is a legitimate national championship contender. Honestly they probably gave LSU a little too much credit for that win considering how Clemson has looked so far

ignore all the talking heads.

Just watch the games and ignore the rest of the nonsense.
