What was your record prediction after Florida State?
I was hoping for 6-6...thought we could sweep the remaining non-conference, and then was hoping to pull three wins out from Miss. State, Mississippi, Auburn, and Florida. I thought Arkansas and A&M would be losses and BAMA was impossible.

I sent the same message to everyone.
“Won’t make a bowl game”

Me too, my guy.
I was in the stadium contemplating the future of LSU football in the second quarter of that game

I went from 9-10 wins which ended up being correct to 6 to 7 maybe

I said 7-5 8-4 after that game and posted 10-2 and a separate thread calling to load up the bandwagon as we were still in position to win the west after the Tennessee game.
Ouch.
I just pulled a muscle patting myself on the back

I would’ve been good with 6-6 after the first game.

6-6, and I wondered if even that was with my purple and gold glasses on.

I still predicted 9-3 like I did since spring. It still amazes me to this day that people cqn watch decades of a sport and not take THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON, as how the whole season will look. I constantly said Daniels will find his confidence and rhythm. I said the OL will improve little by little. I said the defense will tighten up, these are a bunch of guys thrown together in a year one hot pot, but they are extremely experienced and that will help down the road.
Again, it's insane to me how everybody from media to fans overreact every single year. It's just like poll voters. I remember how they shot UF from unranked to like 12th after the beat top 10 Utah at home close. Beating game one "top 10" Utah at home close, and you're damn near a top 10 team already? This drastic up and downs in the polls were just as bad as last year.

As it turns out, predicting 4-8 after a 1 point loss in game 1, may have been a little hasty.

In August, I thought LSU would go 7-5 during the regular season and maybe
(3-5) in the SEC.
(3-5) in the SEC.

I predicted 8-4 to start the season. After FSU, I was hoping for 6-6.

I was predicting 6-6 to 7-5

After Tennessee I was sure we'd go 6-6.
I wanted to personally run Jayden Daniels out of town on a rail because he was lost and refused to throw the ball....
I don't know what 'clicked' but I am so glad that rail was never delivered!
