In Tiger Stadium?
Besides the spring games my uncle would bring me to every year.
Auburn.. the cigar game. My first real game.
My stars, I hope we get it together because this is the one game I look forward to every year.. no matter if we were friggin 0-6.

It was a game with Texas A&M, I want to say 86 or 87, I was too young to remember it.

LSU v. Florida State
1979
LSU 19
FSU 24
Was a daytime TV game. This was when maybe 5 games were televised on a Saturday (ABC did regional coverage on 3 or 4 of those games).
Every other five-yard section of the field was painted a darker shade of green, and LSU officials even painted one endzone with garnet and gold with the letters FSU so it would look good on TV.

First game I remember going to was the "Bring Back the Magic" game against #5 Auburn in '95. Gerry D's first home game. We upset Stephen Davis led Auburn in the first game to bring the white jerseys back to TS. I still remember sitting in the student section watching Troy Twillie pick off the last pass of the game in the end zone. It was awesome.

My first game at Tiger Stadium was in the late forties - against NC, I think.
THey had Choo-Choo Justice as their main running back and I was inthralled with the name - I was about ten years old - my brother was attending LSU at the time.
Sat on about the forty-five yard line high on the eastern side. Been a committed Tiger fan ever since.
Will never forget that game - or the visit to LSU - got to see Mike the Tiger (the original one)

My first game was the "The Magic is Back" game against Auburn in '96. I still remember Gabe Norther walking around with that big LSU flag at the end of the game.

Auburn 03...but I won't lie...really didn't give a shite back then.
The first game where I was actually invested in the game was Arizona State 05 (I was viewing it on the screens they set up in the stadium).
If you don't think that counts, then Tennessee of the same year (

Alabama 2008
awesome game.. too bad we had to lose. When RJF blocked that FG... never felt anything like that before.

Meh, you need to go to TS more often IMO.
In terms of epic moments in (my abbreviated) TS history I don't think that even makes top 3.
1) UF 07
2) AU 05 (The "doink" game)--OT game...Auburn kicks the ball and it is utter silence when it seems like no one is breathing...and when it hits the uprights there is an explosion that tailgaters on the far side of campus claimed to have found extremely loud
3) OM 06 (Very similar situation...blocked FG by RJF)

As an LSU freshman fall of 1977...didn't miss a game. All you needed was your ID to get through the gates. They punched a hole in the ID for each game you attended. Still have those IDs around somewhere.
