Outside of the recent NC games, I'd go with:

12/30/05 Peach Bowl - beat Miami both on the field and in the tunnel. Very satisfying game to watch.

1/1/03 Cotton - Even though it was a loss, it established that we were on a level field with the big boys of the game.

Peach Bowl when we beat Georgia Tech in early 2000's was a fun one. Reed with the back of the endzone reach the toe back in bounds TD was great.

1987 gator bowl. A 30-13 blowout of South Carolina. That team finished 10-1-1 and should be ranked in the top 5 lsu teams of all time.

Yep the Miami 05 beat down was my favorite. We told the U "you had your run, we'll take it from here."

Since my favorite games started when I could drink, I'd say 4 out of the top 5 come from 2011.

I don't remember anything being established in that game other than Roy Williams torching our secondary.

The game and the month leading up to the game was a great time to be a tiger. We were so happy to be there and kicking arse helped.

1995 Indy Bowl against Michigan State ... (I think it was them). First bowl game I'd ever been to and first bowl LSU had been to in a while.

2006 Season Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame ... we put the hurt on those boys.

2003/2007 Natty. Enough said.

I seem to recall ESPN analysts talking up how LSU wasn't going to be able to handle Illini DB's and then Rohan broke Sugar Bowl records scoring 40 something points on them

Wasn't that Jordan Jefferson's best game he ever played?
