LSU v/s #13 Mississippi State

Sat in the west uppers. I specifically remember thinking that Domanick Davis was the best player in the world!

18-for-122, 6.8 ypc, 1 TD
1 KR for 36 yards, 36.0 ypa
4 PR for 128 yards, 32.0 ypa, 1 TD

Mine was in Tiger stadium in the same seats we sit in now. I don't remember who LSU was playing but I do remember seeing Jerry Stovall and noticing how tall he was. He also had nice calves.
The first game that I can tell you who LSU was playing that I attended was Arkansas in the 1966 Cotton Bowl. I remember it being an epic battle.

I think mine was the football game against #1 ranked Nebraska in 1976 - the season opener. Ended in a 6-6 tie.

I used to go to a lot of basketball games with my grandparents but I don't really remember any of them. The first football game I remember going to was 2001 vs. Ole Miss. We lost 35-24 and I remember everyone leaving the stadium like WTF how did we lost this game, this was supposed to be our year, etc... ended up being a good season anyway. Went to the Sugar Bowl against Illinois that year too.

Middle Tenn or Florida in 2007 for football, whichever came first that year.

Arkansas in 2008 for basketball.

LSU 21 Auburn 20

I was just a small Tiger, but I remember.

My Dad got tickets from a LSP Trooper and
we picked up his son in LaPlace on the way.

We sat in the SEZ and the EZ was painted
orange with a blue AU.

We scored on the first play of the game
on a halfback pass from Jimmy Gilbert to
Andy Hamilton. LSU was 5-0 and #7 and
Auburn was #5 I believe.

Mike Anderson and George Bevan blocked
Auburn's tying XP late in the game.

My first game as a student was Sept. 1980
against Florida State, a 0-16 loss.
