The reason I hate folks leaving early is it is so much more fun with the stadium full. For those who left early and missed the first team D coming in to try and hold the aubies without a TD you missed a chance for some rockin fun.

It we'd have had 92,000 there on the last play there was no way aubies could have scored

Guys......during the ULL game (true it was ull but)....this couple left in the 1st freaking quarter....maybe 5 minutes in!

What the hell was the point of even coming then. He was gone by 745. Never came back and said he was leaving to drive back to Lafayette.

Don't think the smoking nazis don't have anything to do with it.

Not providing a smoking area to people who have been and are drinking IS causing people to leave early. I know several people who left for this reason specifically.

They were there when needed and got their money worth from the game.

Leaving at the end of a game we were leading by 4 TDs, is not a big deal to me.

Because they paid for their ticket and they can do whatever the hell they want with it?

Fans at every school leave early when the game is decided. This isn't some kind of LSU phenomenon.

If you can't go 3 hours without sucking hot, posinous gases into your lungs, maybe you should stay home and watch the game on TV.

People were bailing around us like crazy at the beginning of the 4th quarter, but it was mainly because they gave in to bitchy wives and whiny girlfriends....

Not a soul left early from my aisle. And to be honest with you, I wish somebody would have. We were all up on each other the entire game.

I knew there would be a thread about this. I stayed till the very end last night, but I have no problem with fans leaving when we're up by 4 touchdowns in the 4th quarter. I've been to nearly every home game over the past 20 years and it's always been that way. So stop complaining about it.

I don't know miami home crowd attendance sucked. Their stadium looked like it was half full.

The seats looks especially empty in the "expensive chairs", which are mostly high-dollar wine and cheese folks who believe in beating traffic and/or going back to the tailgate to hear Ronnie and Jimmy play the spoons and dance. Most diehards won't leave until a few ticks are left on the clock.

I'm afraid most of those diehards have died. Bout the time we added the first upper deck. Oh could those 67,500 make one helluva racket.

I don't think the original poster is asking about the people who leave at the end up 4 tds, but the ones who leave before and during halftime.

You shouldn't have to arrive 8 hours before gametime to actually be able to park ANYWHERE near the stadium.

That's why people leave early. They've been on campus 12 hours by the time it hits 9pm. They're ready to go home.

My days tailgating are typically 12-17 hours and you nailed it.............

Where were you sitting and what were you drinking?

I doesn't really bother me about what other people decide to do. I only get to experience a Saturday in Tiger Stadium 7-8 times per year so I like to make the most of it.

to each his own. But I Saturday night was perfect. The weather was great,we played well and were handling a team that we generally have 15 round heavyweight battles with. It was satisfying to just stay to the end and soak it all up.
