They have forgotten how to win with class like they did in the 70s, 80s and early 90s. Must be a reflection of their coach...
This.

I've never been to a game in Tuscaloosa when we lost. I've only had a couple of bad experiences and they were with drunk frat sheeple. Most Bama fans are fine.

I'm going for the first time as well. I really hope none of these hillbilly fricks get too irate with their shite talking after we win. I really don't feel like getting jumped and/or arrested in Alabama.

they've gotten 100x worse since they got Saban

Around 95 I had a problem with a ticket taker who addressed my friend as "boy" (my friends a dead ringer for lawrence fishburn).
The next trip, I had a few issues with bama "fans" throwing things, reported it to a guard and was basically told to sit down and take it or I would be throw out.
Other than those two bad experiences, and a LOT of questionable officiating, I've had mostly positive experiences up there.
I've usually parked near a building called "ten hor hall". Usually find more "fan" types around there who are always cordial, and its a relatively short walk.

I remember walking to the stadium and seem to recall that there were a ton of booths selling sutff ... kinda remember it being like a craft fair for some reason. Of course I had been drinking ...
this is exactly what i remember when i went in 07, IMO its nothing like the atmosphere of tiger Stadium.. the best part i sat in the student section with my LSU on and caught hell all game (deservedly so i guess) either way we won when Chad Jones caused that fumble on the 1 and nobody would say shite to me... bunch of pussies

Had good times there, but I have family in Gumpaloosa that I stay with, there are a few assholes, if we win I'm getting my coonass outta there in a hurry!

When I went last time they lined the streets and threw things and taunted us as we walked to our car... Hope for a win cause they get nasty when they win.
Had the same experience in 2009. I have been there every year we've played since the 80's and this was the first time I had ever encountered anything like that there. They have always been arrogant and delusional, but that was the only time I had seen that type of behavior.

Last time I went they poured cokes in our seats (creating puddles we couldn't sit in), hit us with ice, threw popcorn, and yelled at us anytime we cheered. We couldn't have been more non-confrontational but the 30 and older crowd there are the scum of the earth.

notice i said ones that never went to any school, these are your updyke types. They dont use rational thinking so they will probably still spout off about katrina and not having home despite baton rouge being 80 miles from nola.

i agree with this there older crowd is pretty bad. I think living the life of a ditch digger will harden people like them and cause them to lash out like they do.

Before the game isn't too bad. Mostly just a lot of people dressed like morons jerking off to paintings of the Bahr and a few younger fans squeezing the squirrel around the Saban statue. If they win they all turn into complete assholes who you'd think aren't used to winning. They will throw shite, rape, steal and kill. Sadly, Im only slightly exaggerating.

nice guys before the game, assholes if they win.

This will be my 3rd trip to T-Town. We meet family up there who are tide fans, so its normaly a good time. I would stay clear of the greeks though. those guys will cus out a 3 yr old. My wife's uncle normaly appoligises to us at least 3 times for thier fans shite talking. Other than that, its a damn fun road trip.
