Yeah, those bats were smoking to start the season off, nearly reaching .215. Too bad they sustained those injuries and have to "press" now.
yup

Great follow up.
At no point was Tulane swinging the bats well this year.
You don't know what you are talking about.

Have you read this thread? I have never said they swung the bats well. You have terrible reading comprehension.

Spoken like a true engineer. Tell your twin brothers hello.

Really?...here is your quote:
quote:
I'm talking about this year and yes losing 4 of your top 5 guys causes hitters to press.
It was a direct reply to your quote that I agreed with. I'd say you are the one with reading comprehension problems.
Tulane's offensive production is poor...and you can't blame injuries on the pitching staff for that. In the end, people don't really care about Tulane like they used to because Tulane hasn't been able to keep up...and just isn't viewed as relevant anymore.

Actually me saying they were pressing only meant the hitting had gotten worse since the injuries.
here is another quote from me earlier
here is another quote from me earlier
quote:
Who ever said the bats were hot? The team was built around pitching and when it was healthy they were winning. They were like 17-4 2 weeks ago. You don't have to be an offensive juggernaut when you're only giving up a couple runs a game.

Who cares? The OP was asking about Tulane raising prices everytime they have a home game v LSU. Nothing new but it's lame so screw those guys

Do they sell beer at Turchin stadium?
Posted on 4/5/11 at 8:39 am to TigerWise
I want the LSU-Tulane series to end. These games piss me off.

Is that a real question? Of course they do!

Sweet Tulane, $35 flat rate + fees for all seats? I live 10 blocks away from Turchin but I'll be watching at Bruno's or something. F that noise
Posted on 4/5/11 at 10:01 am to Jaydeaux
But yea, nothing new here. No surprise
Posted on 4/5/11 at 10:16 am to TulaneUVA
I thought beer was for the lower class

What does a mid week game normally cost? Eff those guys. I really hope its poorly attended.
Posted on 4/5/11 at 10:47 am to STEVED00
Do we charge higher prices when we play Tulane at the box? I think not.
Posted on 4/5/11 at 12:08 pm to TulaneUVA
Tulane still has a baseball team AND they have a stadium? What is this nonsense?
