It’s a shame they are resorting to that crap. Cannabis will be legal shortly. MLB dropped it from band substance.
What is NCAA doing? Encouraging opioids is what they are doing.
They don’t test for opioids?

Don't normally stay in your system as long as THC.

The State of Louisiana needs to get into the 21st Century on the Weed Issue. There are far too many Weed derivatives to treat pain that are allowed in the vast majority of states already. Doesn't hurt your kidneys like Advil and others. Follow the money - its probably big pharma buying off the politicians to not make the change.

If your coach lost a game because his best players were late then maybe he should reconsider his rule.
Like everyone is saying LSU needs to reconsider theirs. Because were only hurting ourselves

His point was made very very few times from the stories. All I can say the threat of not competing kept us in line. Mind you this was the ‘60’s when many of our culture was in an upheaval, drugs were huge, social unrest with African Americans rioting and equality and a war to protest. Let’s just say, Vietnam was a big deal.

We've had some local people with serious brain fries due to smoking "synthetic weed."
That stuff is not good at all for one's mental health.

Just let the boys smoke real weed this has gotten so out of hand. Most absurd shite I have ever heard. We are putting kids into harms way by gravitating them towards that synthetic garbage.
If you thot the boys lacked ambition this year just wait until we station a bong in the players lounge. Lol

Funny because as I mentioned I was a freshman in ‘68. Smoked enough in my time to know, it ain’t shite compared to acid which I did as well... None of it was worth it. It was childish boyhood bull shite. Grow the frick up.

because they can’t smoke regular weed all thanks to the compliance department
For the time being, it's still illegal. Nice job of blaming somebody else for their problems. You must be 15.

This is why we need to teach civics in high school.
Following orders without reason or thought to justice is a hallmark of authoritarian regimes like communism.
Low-IQ individuals screaming “ ....buts it’s the rules” have a lot in common with these systems.

Policy is weeding out some good players.

Prove other schools are letting people BREAK THE LAW.
Alabama and Florida definitely do not test their athletes for marijuana nor do they punish them for marijuana use, per se.
There are others but those are the two at the top of the list.
And the “BREAK THE LAW” argument is weak. Most companies don’t care anymore about recreational marijuana use. The NBA doesn’t even test for it anymore. There a numerous states where it is no longer illegal.
Again, arguing compliance for the sake of compliance is about as weak as it gets.

They need to not do it how bout that?? It is a big deal. As an athlete you need a competitive drive and weed makes you extremely lazy. There’s a reason that the ones that do weed usually don’t last
Ha!!! I promise far more athletes use it than not. Even the great ones.

domestic assault
Not remotely similar to smoking weed. Assaulting another human (victim) vs. Smoking a plant (no victim) to feel better and heal for christ's sake

I am convinced that the weed policy at LSU is hurting recruiting big time.
Ala/LSU going after 5* recruit. Player likes LSU a lot. Bama coaches tell player that they know he likes his weed....Bama doesn't care or penalize a player for it. LSU will kick a player off the team even someone like Honey Badger....and potentially put a black mark on your future NFL resume....
Which team do you think the player will sign with?
It is a big deal with today's player's culture....and LSU needs to get its head out of the sand and change their handcuffing policy.....NOW
