Thanks Mrs. McBland, your mediocrity attitude I’m sure is greatly appreciated in your household. Better yet the disastrous season We had last year has lowered expectations of our fanbase into believing that the job so far 24 has exceeded their high standards of a winning record or should I even mention “playoffs”. Now the standards has become “playing tough” “never give up” and my favorite “they have grit”. Well basketball is one of my favorite sports especially March Madness, but I have resigned my hopes of ever seeing LSU playing in the near future.
Though I’m still comforted by the fact that your Great Family still has 6yrs and 24million$ to achieve this goal. Your legion of fans have assured me that we are improving every second except for the occasional 30pt blowouts to really Good teams(make that 22pts don’t want to upset the Moral Victory Crowd) so I’ll be patient. I will only say you are a Fine Man but refrain from saying your a Fine Coach until maybe you prove that by actually winning, pardon my frankness I thought that’s why you were hired TO WIN basketball games except when we have to play really Good Teams(those dam schedule makers). I will close by saying keep trying really hard and keep that grit thing up, I have no doubt we will make the tournament in your 8 years at LSU.

IF they go forth and lose the next four games, which the odds overwhelmingly agree will happen, I won't be too disappointed...if, the team wins its last five, which seems possible.

McMahon didn’t have a better situation than basically almost every other coach ever. He had zero starting players. The only coaches who have had it worse are schools who are trying to start a basketball program.

To be quite impartial, Tennessee is a good basketball team, who's well coached. They along with Auburn should beat not only LSU, but all the other SEC teams about 9 out of 10 times on their own home court.

For the record, Wade brought in Bigby-Williams year one as a transfer. And he inherited mays, Sampson, reath, Epps, and sims. The biggest thing he did year 1 was get waters, which was mostly luck because I believe he was committed to Georgetown who fired their HC.
