Letting them trade in the one year old Dodge Charger for a new one?

How does Bama always seem to get 3-4 guys who are projected to go in the first 3 rounds to stay for a 4th year but we can't seem to get any of them to stay?

Well Moses did not play this year, so maybe he does not feel he will test in the combine at 100%. D. Smith probably thinks he can be a first rounder next year. Other than Chase and Marshall and Waddle his teammate, who is better. The Clemson wide outs are good but I would take LSU's 2 and Bama's 2 over them.

Moses needs a full year post surgery. Harris will be the featured back post Tua. Easy decision for them. Queen and maybe Cush are the only two that could be drafted higher if they stayed. Don’t see Phillips, Jefferson , or Delpit stock rising enough to make it worth while to stay another year.

I think it was more about them not winning a title this year and some players were injured that hurt their draft grade! So they have something to prove I guess

Thinking through this over the last several years.. the only conclusion I have is that Saban’s word carries so much weight around the NFL amongst front office guys and scouts that players trust him (right or wrong) .

Leatherwood is the real head-scratcher of the bunch.

This is anecdotal. I'm betting the real data is showing that they lose a ton of players after they've won championships.

Losing championships. Seriously.

Some of these kids feel it’s unfinished business if they go out without winning a championship.

With us, it’s the combination of some of them improving their draft stock this year and winning the championship. They’ve accomplished what they wanted, and feel like they should strike while the iron is hot.

they didn't lose the best college football team in ncaa history, with arguably the best QB of all time AND the guy that brought the offense.

i think we should be happy for the flash in the plan championship.

the meaningful people are all moving on, all they've got to look forward to next year is Coach O, who on his own cant replicate what we just saw.

LSU stock has never been higher than now. Any business savvy person can tell you what that means. The kids aren't dumb

Najee is a very physical back, his body can only take so many hits, also there's increased potential for injury. He's going to be the main source of their offense, that will negatively impact his NFL career. He should've gone, projected late 1st early 2nd isn't bad for a Rb.
