How does Bama always seem to get 3-4 guys who are projected to go in the first 3 rounds to stay for a 4th year but we can't seem to get any of them to stay?

There seem to be plenty of years where they have several guys leave early. Might depend on whether they win it all. And when they lose lots of guys they usually have quality depth coming in. Especially OL.

They had a really good team that went 11-2 and that didnt sit right with some of the kids.
Others probably wanted to increase draft stock.

I get the feeling O, as well as Miles before him, is more adamant about players doing what is best for themselves, aka going to get their money if they may be a pick in rounds 1-3. Whereas I get the vibe from Saban that he would probably tell anybody not guaranteed to be a first-round pick to stay.

The only thing they're doing that is of any concern to me is the way they have been/are recruiting. They'll always reload when they are top 3 in recruiting. That 16th ranked 2018 class (that has like 4 remaining contributors) combined with the mass exodus this year is going to make for a painful 2020.

Guys Relax, we took advantage of Lawrence, Fiehoko, Divinity, and Fulton this year, this will happen when your team has a great year and stocks are high, I hate it also, but its the new trend

Lying to them. If a kid is a 1st day pick he should go or he's not gonna improve on his stock he should go. Saban is just being selfish and wants to win, he could give two shits about a kids future.
