If the season doesn’t count for the coaches then why does the season count at all.

I mean BO, Brady, and Aranda were “on the market” we hired them from other jobs.

Minor staff changes this year or wholesale changes next, including O. The athletic budget cannot sustain another sh!t show.

Oh yea?

He’s in year 1 of new 6yr deal: . If LSU were to terminate Orgeron's contract in the first year, his buyout would be about $27 million; in the second year, about $21 million; in the third, $16.8 million; in the fourth, $12.6 million; in the fifth, $8.4 million; and in the final year, $4.2 million.

You guys are way too obsessed with coaching. It is all about what players you got. Coaches are as good as their recruiting, the rest of it is worth maybe 5%.

This is flat out wrong. All you have to do is look at 2018 compared to 2019. Our offense went from meh to elite elite.

If you think scheme and coaching is only with 5% of the success then you are absolutely clueless.

Why do you think LSU sucks this year and did just ok prior to 2019 even though they constantly had too 5 recruiting classes?

I’ll tell you why, coaching and scheme. That’s why.

The Athletic budget can sustain another shite show much easier than it can sustain multi-multi-multi million dollar buyouts. Everyone thinks the Athletic Dept can keep tapping boosters for an endless stream of money, but that is just not the case. According to the Dallas Morning News The folks in Texas are questioning if they can ask boosters, yet again, for millions of dollars to buy out Tom Herman's contract. If that is a possible issue for Texas, I guarantee you it's an issue for LSU.

You are by far the stupidest person I’ve seen on this site, which is quite an honor. Yes, having a hall of fame QB makes a team look good. But are you so stupid you don’t see what a good scheme does with that QB? Burrow was average in 2018 and GOAT in 2019. Ridiculous

I’d like to see the fine print regarding NCAA trouble and morality clauses

Not that I think he will, but if it came to ahead that poorly, they could likely wiggle themselves out of that buyout money.

I agree with you to a point, you’re fooling yourself if you think coaching is a minimal factor. You amass talent and then you teach, scheme and execute.
